Fans spot bizarre Joe Biden detail in Wonder Woman’s intimate White House Christmas picture

Lynda Carter got a chance to celebrate the holidays by spending time at the White House and shared an intimate Christmas photo from her visit.

The Wonder Woman actress, 73 — who recently joined forces with Ryan Reynolds for a SickKids Foundation video — uploaded the photo to Instagram on Wednesday as she posed with President Joe Biden and his wife Jill Biden.

Kamala Harris and her husband, Douglas Emhoff, and two other guests were also seen in the photo as the group stood between two decorated Christmas trees.

However, some social media users jumped to the comments section to point out that Joe appeared to be standing very close to Carter – while his wife, Jill, was inches away from the others.

One typed “Same Joe, same,” followed by a laughing emoji, while another added: “Why does @flotus look like she’s photobombing.”

One fan responded to the comment by saying, “I was wondering the same thing!”

Another wrote: ‘Beautiful! Gotta love Joe,” followed by a laughing emoji.

In response, one Instagram user asked, “Why love Joe? Why was Jill so far away from Joe?’

The photo showed Lynda in the middle of the group as she stunned in a gold dress with long sleeves that flowed to the floor.

The star’s dark brown locks were parted in the middle and fell effortlessly in elegant curls past her shoulders.

She smiled brightly as they stood in front of a fireplace as a portrait of George Washington was placed above the mantle.

Joe wore a classic black suit, while his wife Jill – who recently decorated the White House with Christmas decorations – opted for a champagne-colored ensemble.

In the caption of her latest post, Carter wrote to her nearly 300,000 followers: “Merry Christmas! What an honor to be in the White House again. With love, admiration and friendship, Lynda.’

Last November, she encouraged fans to vote in the 2024 presidential election by sharing a photo of herself wrapped in an American flag.

Standing on a dimly lit set, she looked into the distance as a light shone on her.

At the time she had written: ‘Women unite! Vote for reproductive freedom! Vote for @kamalaharris and @timwalz! VOTE BLUE!’

In April, Carter also attended the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington DC

She turned heads in a dark blue dress with embellishments down the front, while a fluffy scarf fell down to her elbows.

Lynda has been busy over the Christmas period and recently starred alongside Ryan Reynolds in a video for the SickKids Foundation earlier this month.

He also got some help in the humorous video from his eight-year-old daughter Inez, whom he shares with his wife Blake Lively.

As part of his campaign to raise awareness about the SickKids Foundation, the acting couple will match any donation made to the foundation up to $500,000.

Reynolds, who Forbes reported was worth $71.5 million as of 2020, appeared on a rooftop in his Deadpool ensemble with what appeared to be Santa’s sleigh.

‘Benevolence is thirsty work!’ he shouted as he threw a bag into it while Inez, who played Kidpool in Deadpool & Wolverine, was inside.

‘Where to now?’ she asked as they prepared for the evening’s next stop, Ryan responding, “Well, I thought we were eliminating sick kids.”

“Oh dude, that sucks so much,” Kidpool said as Deadpool sputtered and tried to correct himself.

“We are eliminating the disease by encouraging people to donate,” he clarified.

But he thought it was a job for more than just the two of them because they were “technically R-rated” and might not be suitable for little ones.

Then there was a burst of sound and light, and suddenly the actress Lynda Carter was seen crouching with her fist on the ground.

“Did anyone call for help?” she asked before breaking into an ear-to-ear grin. She was clearly referring to her starring role in the television series Wonder Woman, which ran from 1975 to ’79.

“Aren’t you…a wonderful woman,” Deadpool said. Carter was on board, so he asked her to “do the thing,” at which point she began spinning around in a circle, as her Wonder Woman character would do to get into costume while bathed in golden light.

But corporate intellectual property rights seemed to get in the way, as Carter’s appearance suddenly changed to a green and red holiday sweater with a large gold bow across her midriff, much like the one Reynolds has worn in ads for the SickKids Foundation.

After looking at the sweater in amazement, the Deadpool family shouted “f***!” in quick succession.

‘Who did this?!’ Carter asked in bewilderment, as Deadpool replied, “The DC lawyers.” I knew it!’

He joked that the perpetrator was “probably the same guy who was the perpetrator.” [Superman star Henry] Cavill and that other Batman.”

At the end of the clip, Deadpool told them to untie Santa after they finished their work, but Kidpool shouted “Never!”

Reynolds and Lively will match donations to the SickKids Foundation, which was founded in 1972, until midnight on December 24.

The organization helps raise money for the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
