Fans praised Jack Harlow’s halftime performance on Thanksgiving as viewers criticized the cheap-looking set, calling it the “worst halftime show ever.”

Harlow stepped onto Ford Field with the Lions and Packers back in their locker rooms and sang several songs over a six-minute period.

But with Detroit trailing 23-6 at the break, energy was clearly low among the home fans and the rapper’s performance flopped.

“Jack Harlow just ruined my Thanksgiving,” one fan wrote on X.

“Jack Harlow’s performance is as bad as the Lions’ play,” joked another.

Jack Harlow’s Thanksgiving performance at Ford Field was not well received by fans

Fans criticized the look of the set, which featured a white tarp and what appeared to be a snow screen

“Imagine your team getting thrashed in front of millions of people on Thanksgiving and then having to attend a Jack Harlow halftime show,” another fan added.

Many others pointed out the low-budget look of the set for Harlow’s performance, as the Louisville native stood in front of an amateurish snow screen and on a white tarp.

“Jack Harlow is performing in the Mall Santa line-up,” one fan joked.

Former NFL defensive end Chris Long said, “This Jack Harlow set budget was about $36.”

And ESPN’s Pat McAfee added, “It feels like Jack Harlow didn’t have a chance with that set design. At one point he walked on plastic.’

Other fans harkened back to a better-received Thanksgiving performance, when Creed performed “Higher” for Cowboys fans in 2001.

“Jack Harlow could never do that,” RedditCFB wrote in a post along with a video of the Creed performance.

Elsewhere in the NFL, Dolly Parton and Steve Aoki will be hoping their halftime performances in Dallas and San Francisco respectively are better received.

After Harlow’s mini-show, the Lions lost 29-22.
