Fans slam Billie Eilish for her ‘ridiculous’ ticket prices after the pop star announced world tour for Hit Me Hard And Soft

Billie Eilish fans are furious about the high ticket prices for her upcoming world tour.

The Grammy and Oscar-winning artist, 22, unveiled her impressive 81-date tour on Instagram on Monday for her upcoming album, Hit Me Hard and Soft.

However, the excitement among her fans was quickly dampened hours later when the pop star’s ticket prices were announced.

In Australia, the cheapest D Reserve tickets start from $129.90, which is about $40 more than the cost of comparable seats at Taylor Swift’s recent Australian concerts.

Regular GA standing tickets sell for $199.90, while tickets for a reserved aisle seat cost as much as $269.90.

Overseas, prices are even more expensive, with GA standing tickets selling for an eye-watering £150 (AUD$288) in Britain.

Fans have taken to social media to brand Eilish’s ticket prices as ‘ridiculous’ amid the cost of living crisis.

‘I love Billie, but these tickets should never cost that much. I paid less for standing room at the Eras Tour and that’s at Wembley,” one user wrote on X, referring to Taylor Swift’s recent world tour.

“I know I complain about this all the time, but look at the price of Billie Eilish tickets! Something seriously needs to be done about ticket prices, it’s bloody outrageous!’ another groaned.

‘£145 for a tour for an album she hasn’t even released a single from yet. Never a promising sign. Performances become inaccessible,” agreed yet another.

During the Australian leg of Eilish’s tour, the singer will perform twelve arena concerts on the country’s east coast in early 2025.
