Fans predict Mary Fowler and Nathan Cleary will make two HUGE decisions after the Matildas star debuted a stunning new look
Matildas superstar Mary Fowler has unveiled a stunning new look on social media, causing footy and NRL fans alike to jump to conclusions.
Fowler and Penrith Panthers captain Nathan Cleary are Australia’s most prominent sporting couple and have earned a legion of supporters even outside their respective sports.
The couple first sparked dating rumors in 2023 when they were spotted together last year along the Nepean River in Sydney’s western Penrith.
They were later seen enjoying an ice cream after an Adidas event, a brand they are both sponsored by.
Since those first sightings in Perth, the two have regularly posted loving photos on social media and have been spotted supporting each other during their respective matches.
Fowler often meets Cleary when she returns to Australia, either to relax from her commitments at Manchester City or to fulfill her duties with the Matildas.
This is the photo Fowler posted that sparked a wave of speculation that she is about to marry her NRL star boyfriend Nathan Cleary
Cleary and Fowler have been dating since late 2023 and can’t hide Australian sport’s worst-kept secret
Fans now think they have been together long enough and are calling for wedding bells and even children
Recently, Fowler posted a stunning new look to her Instagram account with braided hair that left her fans thrilled.
However, many of them also drew two pretty big conclusions about the couple.
‘Madam beautiful! Coming soon Mrs. Cleary,” one follower posted.
Another quickly agreed, replying: ‘The Queen of Penrith’.
“Or maybe she chooses to keep her name, right?! Keep her own identity and all,” another replied.
A Penrith supporter also saw marriage on the horizon for the power couple, but asked Mary to wait until the NRL finals series had finished.
‘Take care of our Prince Mary. Two more matches to go,” they posted with a series of diamond ring emojis.
Others weren’t so keen on the idea.
“Gosh why does everyone want to marry her off, stay Mary Fowler,” wrote one Matildas supporter.
“Inspiring a new generation of Australian footballers,” another added.
“Please don’t take Cleary to England,” begged another.
Football and NRL supporters alike believe the power couple would produce more sporting superstars
Fowler is currently focusing on her football career with both the Matildas and Manchester City
If love comes first, then marriage, it makes sense that we would next see Mary and Nathan with a stroller.
And their fans are already going crazy about what kind of children the two athletes could bring into the world.
“Hey everyone, imagine if these two had a kid, I think the kid would probably be pretty good at sports,” one fan wrote.
“Those kids would be intercepting and scoring goals in the womb from day one,” another excited follower posted.
‘Forget Becks and Posh [David and Victoria Beckham]and forget Denmark, this is our Queen Mary and the Prince of Penrith,” another added.
‘You can’t make this up. Someone at home is working this out for a Netflix script, take on the world, kids.”
Cleary has recently been forced to deny rumors that he was moving to Britain for 12 months to be closer to Fowler
Fans may want to keep their expectations in check. For starters, it appears that Fowler has deleted all comments about having children from the thread.
Cleary’s manager has also blasted suggestions that his star client could spend a year playing in the British Super League to be closer to his friend.
It follows Cleary’s candid account of the beginning of his romance with Fowler, in which he finally addressed stunning speculation about how their relationship became public.
The 26-year-old is widely regarded as the best player in the NRL and has opened up for the first time about the moment he found himself in a ‘car chase’ shortly after Ny Breaking Australia’s exclusive photos made their relationship public for the first time . .
Our photos showed the couple sharing a tender moment in a Perth park last November, after Cleary made the trip from Sydney to watch Fowler play for the Matildas – and from that moment on everything changed for them both.
“Every time I was with her, it felt like we were two normal people… and then suddenly people were taking pictures of us, and then they were published, and then there were articles, and then there were people waiting . the front of my house,” Cleary told the podcast.
