Football supporters have mocked Man City’s players for the outfits they arrived in ahead of their match against Swiss side Young Boys.
The Treble winners are in Bern for the Champions League match, hoping to maintain their 100 percent record after wins against RB Leipzig and Red Star Belgrade in their first two group games.
However, as they arrived at the Wankdorf Stadium and stepped off the team bus, City’s stars appeared to be wearing tailored vests and baggy jeans.
The vests had what looked like a bracelet on the left side that said ‘Manchester City’, while each player had his name on the back.
And several supporters couldn’t quite believe what they had seen, with TNT Sports pundits Joe Cole and Joleon Lescott also mocking the team.

The custom-made vests had each player’s name on the back and generated a lot of discussion
Joleon Lescott (left) and Joe Cole (right) also joked that the vests were ‘terrible’
Cole joked: ‘(It’s) Unacceptable, honestly. I’m not being funny are I, the gaffer got out first and he looks like the man from the milk tray – he looks brilliant.
“He looks around and I don’t care how many Trebles you win guys, you have to sort things out. It’s terrible.’
Lescott added: ‘If it doesn’t look good for Jack Grealish then I think: ‘Yes, there is a problem’.’
Meanwhile, another supporter said: ‘Look at this kid turning up to a match,’ before another joked: ‘Those Man City vests, whoever thought that was a good idea should be sacked.’
Another added: ‘Man City players turn up in dowdy cardigans and 80s prison jeans.’
More supporters also flocked to Pep Guardiola’s side, with another saying: ‘I’ve just seen pictures of the Man City players getting out of the coach. What are they wearing? Nice denim.’
Another fan insisted they were scarred by seeing the controversial design as they simply outlined: ‘Don’t look for #MCFC vests. You can’t undo them.’
