Fans left devastated as Mrs Brown is RECAST in latest Paddington film as Britain’s favourite bear heads to Peru in a new trailer for his most epic adventure yet

Fans have been devastated to realize that Mrs Brown has been recast for the third part of Paddington after the official trailer was released on Wednesday.

Britain’s favorite bear returns to screens for Paddington In Peru as he embarks on his most epic adventure yet, traveling around the world to South America.

Together with the Brown family, the gang embarks on an unprecedented journey through the Amazon rainforest to find his Aunt Lucy after she mysteriously leaves the Home for Retired Bears on an unknown quest.

However, fans were shocked to realize that Sally Hawkins is not returning as Mrs Brown, but has instead been recast.

Emily Mortimer, best known for her starring role in HBO’s The Newsroom, has taken on the role as the family heads out on their latest adventure.

Directed by Dougal Wilson, the film sees Hugh Bonneville return as Mr Brown, while Ben Whishaw returns to voice Paddington and Imelda Staunton will once again play Aunt Lucy.

Olivia Coleman has also joined the cast as she transforms into a nun to play the Reverend Mother in the franchise.

However, fans were saddened to see Sally gone as they took to Twitter to share their anger.

They wrote: ‘Why did they change Mrs Brown’s actress’; “No, they changed Mrs. Brown!!!???? And Paddington sounds different??????’

‘they recast Mrs. Brown, which is sad but otherwise looks nice’; ‘What Happened to Sally Hawkins?’; “Where is the original mother of the brown family.”

‘Why did they change Mrs. Brown?’; ‘Love it but will miss Sally Hawkins dearly’; ‘missing sally’.

‘Not my Mrs. Brown in this movie, Sally Hawkins, always will be’; ‘It’s not the same without Sally Hawkins!!!’

Speaking about her decision to leave the film, Sally previously explained: ‘For me it felt like the right time to hand the reins to someone else, and you can’t get much better than the truly amazing Emily Mortimer. special.

“She will embody the essence of Mary Brown and yet make it her own. But I am and will always remain in love with the world of Paddington.

‘I already miss my family, both on and off screen, so much. The experience of making the first two films was truly one of the best and most creative times I’ve had in film.”

She added, “They both gave me so much joy. I will hold them so close to my heart forever.”

As the trailer opens, Paddington struggles to get a grip on the photo booth as he tries to pose for his passport photo.

Removing the marmalade sandwich, which he always keeps in his hat because when he gets hungry, Paddington leaves the booth with some rather chaotic snaps after losing control of the spinning chair.

Later, when the family arrives at the Home for Retired Bears, the Reverend Mother shares the news that Aunt Lucy’s whereabouts are unknown.

“I’m afraid she’s embarked on some sort of quest deep in the jungle, and we have no idea where she is,” the actress explains.

Determined to find her, Paddington adds, “Aunt Lucy found me when I was a cub, and now I must find her. We have to try’.

The film also plays a leading role Antonio Banderas, Julie Walters, Madeleine Harris, Samuel Joslin, Carla Tous and Jim Broadbent.

Fans shared their excitement about the film, which hits theaters on November 8, writing: ‘A nice bit of relief on a gloomy day. I can’t wait for the next movie. P2 was perfection’;

‘Would anyone like to share a few marmalade sandwiches with us while we watch this; ‘Good luck with your new adventure Paddington! I’ll be there no matter what.”

Meanwhile, Specsavers added: ‘Glasses are the best. Especially this one’.
