Fans left confused by bizarre detail in Robert Irwin’s latest video as he finds horrifying surprise in his home
Robert Irwin left fans shocked on Thursday after revealing he had found a snake making a new home for itself in one of his boots.
In a video posted to social media, the 21-year-old wildlife warrior shared a scene that would make most people jump for joy.
I’m a celebrity…Get me out of here! The Australian host seemed calm when he found a huge snake deep in his boots on an outdoor shoe rack.
However, many of his fans wondered why Australians leave their shoes outside if there is a risk of insects and reptiles hiding in them.
“I feel like an outdoor shoe rack in Australia is a really bad idea,” one person wrote.
‘You are all brave and leave your shoes outside in Australia. Although you guys are probably the best people to do it,” another commented.

“You’re a better man than me to leave your shoes outside in Australia [and give them] access to giant spiders. Kudos to you sir,” a third agreed.
‘Is it normal to leave your shoes outside in Australia? That’s terrifying,” another person wondered.
“It’s special to have a shoe rack outside in Australia,” one person added.
In the video, Robert started by saying, “Tell me you live in Australia, without telling me you live in Australia.”
He then turned his phone around to reveal the shoe rack with an array of shoes.
“Look at the shoe rack,” Robert exclaimed when it became clear that a large snake had settled over the top row of shoes.
“What’s the plan here, buddy? What are you doing? They’re mine!’ Robert said to the cunning snake, referring to a pair of boots the snake was looking at.
The snake, a non-venomous carpet python, then, to his surprise, began wrapping its long body in one of Robert’s boots.

“I don’t know what the plan is there, buddy. You won’t fit in there,’ Robert added, but his words went unheeded as the snake burrowed further into his boot.
“Get out of my shoe!” he exclaimed before admitting that he wasn’t clear on how to get the snake out of his shoes.
Robert put down his phone, knelt in front of the trunk and effortlessly pulled the snake out of his future home.
“What are you doing on a shoe rack?” Robert asked his slippery bootjack. “You don’t even have feet!”
