Fans took note of the incidents on social media and many saw the funny side of it: there are, with some jokes, ‘two types of teammates’.
About Kroos’ seriousness, someone said: “Germans don’t know how to stay in the middle, they always choose a side.”
Another jokingly claimed that the German had taken out Tchouameni in an attempt to start for him in the crucial Champions League match against Manchester City in ten days’ time.
He wrote: ‘Kroos eliminates the competition in midfield to ensure a start against City’
A third adds: ‘Kroos takes every match seriously’.
The quartet have done well at club level this season for Real, who are on course to win the LaLiga title this season.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side are eight points clear at the top of the table with nine games to go and have also advanced to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
