Royal fans are in an uproar after a newspaper on Remembrance Sunday used a front page image of the Princess of Wales that looked ’60 years old’.
Kate Middleton, 40, attended the harrowing event this weekend, standing next to Camilla on the balcony of the Cenotaph in Whitehall as she watched King Charles and Prince William lay wreaths and remember fallen soldiers.
However, many social media users were stunned after seeing the image of the royal mother of three from the event on the cover of The Mirror newspaper on Monday.

“Nobody cares about having flattering images all the time, but if you deliberately use an edited image, you show that you bully other women and have a misogynistic culture.”
Meanwhile, another wrote: ‘There were many more gorgeous photos of our beautiful Princess of Wales that should have made the front page without the blatant photoshopping!
“They should be ashamed.”
A third added, “Is that supposed to be Kate in the top right corner?”

A fourth commented, “Did The Mirror put Kate’s picture here through some ugly filter?”
“Something has been done about it – the Daily Mail photo is from the same day, so she didn’t have a terrible rash or anything else that might change the look. It’s terrible!’
Another added: ‘Kate is just beautiful, sour grapes from Mirror – god knows why. A beautiful, graceful princess. We love her.’
Another said: ‘What has the Daily Mirror done to Kate Middleton? That’s weird!’

The princess joined Queen Consort Camilla, 75, to watch King Charles, 74, and Prince William, 40, lay wreaths to pay respect to Britain’s war dead.
Two minutes of silence were observed after Big Ben rang 11 times, resuming full operation for the recently restored Great Bell in the nearby Houses of Parliament.
Sunday’s memorial ceremony was extra poignant this year given the anniversary of the Falklands War, the Queen’s death and the war in Ukraine
Cannon fire marked the beginning and end of the silence, culminating in trumpeters playing the Last Post in front of the Cenotaph, before British politicians and Commonwealth ambassadors laid their own wreaths.
The laying of the head wreaths was followed by a short service, during which the Bishop of London, Dame Sarah Mullally, offered a prayer.
The king and members of the royal family then sang the hymn O God, Our Help in Ages Past as thousands filled Whitehall.
About 10,000 veterans marched past the Cenotaph today, including 400 who fought in the Falklands War 40 years ago.
