He said: ‘It’s satisfying and also a relief to be honest. Obviously I haven’t been here long and today’s match is a local derby.

‘When I walked in, I quickly realized that this was what everyone was saying to me.

‘I experienced that very early in the season with the home day and I certainly felt that today.

‘From the moment we walked into the stadium it was a hostile place and an intense atmosphere that local derbies bring.

‘I’m happy that we managed to get the three points.’
