Rowan was last seen as the titular spy in the third Johnny English film in 2018, alongside Ben Miller and Emma Thompson.

It is thought that this film will be produced by Working Title Films, an off-shoot from Universal Pictures.

The series is a comic spoof from James Bond and Rowan plays the eponymous, Mr. Bean-Like English Spy.

During a Reddit a session asks me, Rowan admitted: “I doubt it, but thank you very much for implying that you would like to see another.”

Rowan, who appeared in the Wonka film from 2023, then added: “But at the same time … never say never.”
