Swift briefly dated Jonas in 2008 before he dumped her in a 27-second phone call when she was 18, and he has been supporting close friend Turner in recent days. It’s thought the pair’s trips to New York City this week will shed new light on Swift’s 2022 song Vigilante S***, which reads:

In the comments of A TikTok When he showed Vigilante S***’s lyrics on a video of the two walking into the Via Carota restaurant in New York on September 19, one fan wrote: “She really predicted the future.”
Another called her “a fortune teller” and someone else said: “So this is the first time she’s written a song before it happens – she knew you guys would connect the song.”
The broad definition of vigilante is “a self-appointed perpetrator of justice.”
Fans have also focused heavily on an image of Swift listening intently to Turner during their dinner, with one speculating: “I just got to this moment where Sophie told her the plan.”
Another Swift fan responded a separate TikTok: ‘She wrote the song knowing what was in store for us – I love it.’
The conversation was already intense when Swift and Turner went out for dinner and drinks on September 19, but escalated further after that. the Game of Thrones star sued Jonas in a New York court to try to move their two children back to Britain.
The bombshell filing also revealed that Turner did not know Jonas had filed for divorce until September 5, four days after the Miami filing.
A representative for Jonas told DailyMail.com: ‘After several conversations with Sophie, Joe initiated divorce proceedings in Florida as Florida is the correct jurisdiction for the case. Sophie knew Joe was going to file for divorce.”

The lyrics of the latter song have also caught the attention of fans now that Turner and Jonas’ divorce has unfolded. They include ‘Hello Mister Casually Cruel / Mister It’s All About You’.
Swift also sings, “So strategic, all eyes on you… Oh, he’s so smug, mister always wins / So far above me in every way.”
Turner embraced the nickname for her now estranged husband and wore a friendship bracelet with Mr Perfectly Fine on it.
The 2010 song Better Than Revenge, believed to be about Jonas and his ex Camilla Belle, later sparked controversy over lyrics that some felt did not meet Swift’s feminist credentials.
In a recent re-recording of the song, Swift changed the line: “She’s better known for the things she does on the mattress.” In the new version it reads: ‘He was a moth to the flame, she held the matches’.
The singers were believed to have mended fences in the years following their 2008 breakup Swift admitted on Ellen DeGeneres’ show that she regretted shooting Jonas about his handling of it.
In May, the Jonas Brothers singer, 34, said: “I’m cool with Taylor. We’re cool.’
Swift has not publicly discussed the divorce since the proceedings began.
