In preparation for their Europa Conference League clash against Chelsea last Thursday night, Servette used their TikTok account to hilariously troll their West London opponents.
Before the Blues beat Servette 2-0 at Stamford Bridge in the first leg of their Europa Conference League play-off match, the Swiss side decided to have a little fun at the expense of Enzo Maresca’s men and their fans.
The Swiss team takes on Enzo Maresca’s big squad by posting a funny Bruce Almighty-themed sketch on the social media platform.
Chelsea’s ever-expanding squad of 40 men has been the talk of the Premier League and the football world for some time now, and Servette wanted to address this much-debated topic once again before their match.
They posted the video to their TikTok account and edited in a scene from the famous film Bruce Almighty, which refers to and criticises the number of players Chelsea have on their books and available for first-team selection.

The caption of the video translates to ‘The CM [community manager] ‘takes the scoresheet for the match against Chelsea.’
With the caption below: ‘Je serai sur mes appuis’, which means ‘I will rise’ in English.
New head coach Enzo Maresca has not had an easy start at The Bridge.
It was another chaotic and busy summer for the Blues, as they continued to recruit new talent but failed to shed players from their current squad.
The former Leicester City manager was given the difficult task of managing and leading a large team.

However, Maresca is quite ruthless with the selection of 40 players he is saddled with.
He sent many of their star players from the previous season away to train elsewhere than with the first team, including Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell, Trevoh Chalobah and Conor Gallagher, before completing his move to Atletico Madrid.
Chelsea return to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon, when they face Wolves away, hoping to secure their first league win of the season.
After a 2-0 defeat to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, the Blues return to Conference League action on Thursday 29th August when they travel to Switzerland for the return leg against Servette.
