Fans left in disbelief after Tom Holland’s famous father is revealed: ‘I would not have guessed that’
Tom Holland may be one of the most famous actors in Hollywood, but he is not the first in his family to achieve great success.
The actor’s father, Dominic, 56, waHe won awards as a renowned comedian, author and presenter long before Tom, 27, starred as Spiderman.
Dominic has had a long career in comedy and first started performing stand-up at The Comedy Café in London in 1991.
But it was his 2000 BBC Four radio programme, The Small World of Dominic Holland, that won him a Comic Heritage Award.
And while the pair’s relationship is public, some fans are only just realizing that Tom is the offspring of his famous father.

After an article in People reminded readers of the famous connection and fans took to Twitter to share their disbelief.
One wrote: ‘Why am I only now finding out who Tom Holland’s father is? I didn’t think so.’
A second commented: ‘Nepo baby. What a shock.’
A third wrote: ‘This is the first time I found out that Tom Holland is the son of Dominic Holland and it has melted my circuits.
“Right now you could tell me that Billie Eilish’s father is Steve Punt and I would believe you. Dua Lipa? Dr. Phil Hammond. Harry Styles? Junior Simpson.”
But while defending Tom against the nepo baby argument, another joked: “He’s certainly fooling everyone else in his family.”
Dominic is also the creator of the recent Amazon comedy special Dominic Holland: The Glory Years.
The synopsis reads: ‘Just your regular, down-to-earth Hollywood dad, Dom’s son Tom as the latest Spiderman (annoyingly) does all the high-flying for him’, as the father pokes fun at his son’s ever-increasing fame.

“How come a boy named Tom Holland, who never had a speaking role in a school play, ends up playing Marvel’s Peter Parker?” The bio jokes.
Previously, the comedian revealed how he is ready to keep his son’s feet on the ground. He told The Ny Breaking’s Emily Prescott: ‘I think 99 percent of celebrities are completely interchangeable. I often remind Tom of that!’
Tom’s parents Dominic and photographer Nikki met at the University of Leeds, where they both studied. They married and had four sons Tom, Paddy, 19, and twins Harry and Sam, 24.
Harry has had small cameos in his brother’s films Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home, but unfortunately his scene in the latter was cut.

Speaking about his siblings, who spent a grueling day filming the entire sequence upside down, Tom joked about their fight on the set of The Graham Norton Show.
“We’ve cast Harry and he’s on set,” Tom said. “I go to the stunt coordinator and say, ‘Whatever you do with the stunt, make sure it’s upside down.’
He joked that “the icing on the cake” came when he saw the finished film, and that Harry’s scene was nowhere to be seen.
“I don’t think he really knows this… they cut the scene,” he said. “It’s not in the movie!”
