Boxing fans watching the highly anticipated main event between Anthony Joshua and Otto Wallin on DAZN were left furious when the streaming platform lost audio for the first four rounds of the fight.
DAZN's stream was running smoothly during Deontay Wilder's unanimous decision loss to Joseph Parker, but the audio cut out just as Joshua's fight against Wallin began.
The platform offered no explanation to disappointed fans, but a sign appeared in the top corner of viewers' screens that read, “Apologies for audio issues.”
The audio issue was eventually resolved and sound returned during the fourth round and commentator Todd Grisham said: 'We would like to apologize to those around the world who experienced audio issues. We're back now, I hope you enjoy the main event.”
Once the audio was restored, there wasn't much for fans to enjoy as Joshua was able to win the fight in the fifth round after the fight was waved off by the doctor.

Although Joshua was able to leave the fight with a smile, countless fans were upset about the issues and took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to blast DAZN.
“Imagine paying to watch the #ANTHONY_JOSHUA fight and having no sound,” said one fan.
“Anthony Joshua is boring to watch at the best of times, let alone without the sound on…” complained another.
Another fan joked: 'BREAKING: Early reports are emerging that Anthony Joshua's replacement opponent, Otto Wallin, is actually DAZN's chief sound engineer. More to follow #DayOfReckoning.'
'@virginmediaCan I get my money back? Watching Anthony Joshua vs Wallin with no sound is about as interesting as doing the dishes,” another fan tweeted.
'I would like to apologize to my remote and my TV for blaming the no sound problem. DAZN has once again proven that they are not suitable for organizing events. Go back to YouTube boxing. Silently watching Anthony Joshua and Otto Wallin #JoshuaVsWallin #DayOfReckoning,” another fan said.
'The sound disappeared just as the main battle started!!!!! I want my money back #DAZNBoxing #anthonyjoshua #Boxing,” another fan complained.
Leading up to the end of the fight, Joshua caught Wallin coming in and countered one of his strikes with a brilliant left hook that sent the heavyweight stumbling backwards.
'AJ' immediately seized the opportunity and charged forward before landing a combination of blows to the head and body.
With a minute left in the round, Joshua continued to apply pressure as he delivered brutal strikes with both left and right.
Wallin eventually recovered to see out the round. However, when he reached the corner, the doctors assessed him and deemed him unfit to continue.
Tons of fans took to X to blast DAZN over the audio issues during the main event
After the fight, Joshua said: “I can't judge my performance. My performance team will judge me and the fans at home will have a lot to say, so I'll leave it up to them.
'Not a back fight, just a new fight. It was just another day at the office. All I want is to conquer, as long as I can.
'Otto is a real warrior. The angle plays a big role so that their fighter can fight another day. I am a gifted fighter and I use my gift.
“I'm looking for greatness. Ben Davison is a great addition to my cause. I'm sure you can see that today.'
