Brittany Mahomes has sparked a liberal frenzy after liking one of Donald Trump’s Instagram posts, with fans convinced it could spell the end of her friendship with Taylor Swift.
Brittany and Taylor have become good friends over the past year, thanks in part to the pop star’s romance with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Kelce plays with her quarterback husband, Patrick. Last season, the two attended several NFL games together.
But now that Mahomes’ controversial stance came to light this week, many believe Swift — a well-known liberal who publicly accused Trump of “stoking white supremacy” in 2020 — will dump her fellow Chiefs WAG.
Someone wrote on X: ‘Well, it looks like Brittany can forget about being in the skyboxes with Taylor Swift from now on. That could really put a strain on their tik tok relationship.’

Brittany and Taylor might be in for an awkward reunion the next time they attend a Chiefs game, given the singer’s well-known disdain for Trump.
Swift lashed out at the former president when he endorsed Joe Biden in 2020, and even vowed to vote him out of the White House four years ago.
Trump has regularly taken her to task and has even spoken out about her high-profile romance with Kelce.

That happened after the Washington Post published an op-ed saying, “If anyone should be worried about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, it’s Trump.”
On Thursday night, CBS’s Gayle King also claimed that Kelce had contacted Vice President Kamala Harris about his attendance at the Democratic National Convention.
While liberals were outraged by her like on Trump’s post, Brittany hit back at her “haters” in a fierce statement on Instagram on Friday night.
Observant users noticed the expectant mother of three liking a post about 16 of Trump’s policies to his 26.3 million followers, ranging from immigration to the economy.
“Honestly, if you are a hater as an adult you must have deep rooted issues that you are not willing to heal as a child,” she wrote in her story.
