Fans accuse footy superstar Harley Reid of doing something VERY unhealthy as he watches his girlfriend make her AFLW debut

Football fans have accused Harley Reid, a young West Coast footballer, of vaping as he watched his girlfriend Yasmin Duursma make her debut for Carlton in the AFLW on Wednesday night.
Just days after winning the Goal of the Year award in his first Brownlow Medal Count, the number one draft pick was spotted in the crowd on Wednesday night as he cheered on his partner at Ikon Park in Melbourne.
Sitting with Duursma’s family during the game, the 19-year-old superstar appeared quite nervous at times. Some even saw him put an e-cigarette in his mouth, which some thought was a vape.
Several social media users concluded that he was engaging in an extremely unhealthy act.
“Why is Harley Reid smoking an e-cigarette during the AFLW match @WestCoastEagles what is going on here?” posted one X user.
“What flavor did you have?” wrote a second commenter, referencing a popular vape brand.
“I just texted the antisocial behaviour hotline to report Harley Reid for vaping,” said another.
Other comments included: “Your boy is vaping?!?! Discreet,” “Was that a vape?” and “Wow starboy Harley Reid is vaping.”
However, Reid currently has a splint on one of the fingers on his left hand, which made it appear as if he was holding a vape pen when he put his fingers in his mouth.
The football star had good reason to be concerned about his girlfriend’s team as North Melbourne recorded their biggest ever AFLW win with 69 points.

The Kangaroos scored the first nine goals of Wednesday night’s match to secure an easy 12.7 (79) to 1.4 (10) victory.
It surpassed North Melbourne’s previous biggest win, a 66-point victory over Sydney in round six of 2022.
The result moves North Melbourne, with four wins and a draw from five games, above Adelaide (4-0) and top of the standings.
Duursma, the sister of Essendon player Xavier Duursma and North Melbourne star Zane, said she was looking forward to making her debut for the club.
“I’ve had a lot of setbacks in pre-season so it’s exciting to be playing this week and making my debut for Carlton,” she told Channel 7.
Rumours about Reid’s relationship with the Carlton AFLW star began circulating in March, when the two were spotted kissing together.
The couple went public with their romance over Easter, with Duursma posting a cheeky TikTok of the new couple.
Reid enjoyed his Brownlow debut on Monday and won the Goal of the Year award
Last week, Duursma, who was friends with Reid as a child, spoke candidly about the relationship.
“We met when he was 12 and I was 13. He and my brother have been friends ever since, and Harley and I have been friends too,” she told News Corp.
‘When I came back from Adelaide and it was on the cards, we decided to give it a go and start talking and dating.
‘Then he ended up getting sent to the West Coast and he moved, but we thought we could give it a shot and keep going.
“It’s not that hard to be honest. They play quite a lot in Melbourne so I see him a lot more than I expected. It’s nice.”
