Fani Willis Warned Nathan Wade’s Divorce Lawyer to Keep Quiet About Their Affair, Prompting New Lawsuits to Be Filed: Trump Accuser’s Case Takes a New Twist with a NEW Witness Who Could Give Damaging Testimony

A new witness produced by a co-defendant of Donald Trump in Georgia claims he overheard Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis speaking to her former lover’s former legal partner and giving what is described as a warning not to talk about what he knows.

Witness Terrence Bradley was a critical witness and key figure Friday during court arguments over whether Willis and former friend and special counsel Nathan Wade should be disqualified from prosecuting Trump and 18 co-defendants.

He repeatedly testified that he could not remember any information when questioned about text messages with another attorney about when Willis and Wade’s relationship began.

Now, defendant attorney David J. Shafer says in a new filing that Cindi Lee Yeager, a prosecutor from Cobb County, Georgia, had “numerous conversations, personal and otherwise” with Bradley in which they discussed information about Willis and Wade.

Lawyers for Trump’s co-defendants said bombshell texts showed she lied about when she started dating Wade and was accused of playing the “race card” when she made the politically motivated allegations against her.

Bradley told Yeager that the two met at a judicial conference in 2019 and that Wade “began his romantic relationship” with the future prosecutor “at or around this time.”

That would contradict Willis and Wade’s testimony that the relationship didn’t begin until 2022, after Wade had already charged him, which could be key to whether Judge Scott McAfee finds there was an actual conflict of interest or even the appearance of one. of one that could push them out of the business.

The to fill also describes an alleged meeting around September 2023 when Bradley visited Yeager in her office and received a phone call.

‘Mrs. Yeager could tell the caller was District Attorney Willis. District Attorney Willis called Mr. Bradley in response to an article published regarding how much money Mr. Wade and his law partners had been paid in this case,” the filing said.

‘Mrs. Yeager heard District Attorney Willis tell Bradley, “They’re coming after us. You don’t have to talk to them about us,” the filing said.

The judge has already held hearings and closing arguments as he tries to determine whether Willis should be disqualified. It is therefore unclear whether the information, even if it is correct, arrived too late.

The timing would suggest the alleged conversation took place before the attempt early this year to remove Willis, amid explosive information about the personal relationship with Wade.

Details about the exact meaning of the alleged statement that “you don’t have to talk to them” and how Yeager was in a position to hear it were not made clear in the filing.

Some of the information Bradley may have possessed was kept out of the trial due to attorney-client privilege issues referred by Judge McAfee. Bradley was Wade’s legal partner, but also ultimately represented him in a divorce, which revealed much of the information in the Willis case.

The filing states that Bradley stated that Wade “personally prepared his own divorce complaint” and had Bradley sign it.

“Based on these statements, Ms. Yeager understands that Mr. Bradley did not (begin) representing Mr. Wade until November 2021,” it said in a statement that could affect the scope of the privilege.

McAfee said Friday that he will need about two weeks to weigh the arguments and reach a decision on the decision. His determination could determine whether another of Trump’s four criminal cases is postponed this election season.

Gillen tried to make a “verbal offer about who that witness is and what that witness would say” in open court on Friday after telling the judge he had new information.

Judge McAfee responded that this was “the first time I’ve heard of it.” Gillen asked that the file be “reopened” so he could present the information. The judge postponed it in the interest of “fair notice to the other party.”

Adam Abbate, the Fulton County attorney who argued on Willis’ behalf, said at the time “I think we would object” to releasing the information Friday.

Bradley testified last week that “I have no idea it started, or when it started,” when asked about Wade and Willis’ relationship. When confronted about text messages he exchanged about it, he said he was “speculating.”

Shafer, whose lawyer came forward with the information, is a former Georgia state senator who was indicted for his alleged role in the so-called “fake voter” scheme.
