A football fan stepped in to officiate a League One match on Tuesday evening after the referee suffered a head injury.
The incident happened just 10 minutes into the second half during Wigan’s match against Wycombe at the DW Stadium.
Referee Adam Herczeg got stuck between two players in the center of the field during a nasty collision and suffered a head injury.
The match was then postponed by 20 minutes as Herczeg received treatment on the pitch.
Unfortunately he was unable to continue with officials subsequently switching roles, with Herczeg being replaced by fourth official Steven Rushden.

A qualified referee was then found in the crowd, with the man arriving on the touchline to act as an emergency official.

As the match was goalless after 90 minutes, another 20 minutes of injury time was added to the clock.
But there was drama in the dying moments of the match, as Charlie Hughes arrived to tap home a rebound to seal a dramatic 1-0 win.
The win is Wigan’s second successive victory on the bounce, with the Latics climbing to 11th in the table.
Wycombe, meanwhile, remain 17th in the table, having now failed to win in their last two games.
