A fan was reportedly arrested Thursday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn after he threw a trophy at Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic.
With 1:40 seconds left in extra time, a spectator joined the action, launching a plastic cup onto the ground and splashing it near the Slovenian sensation.
According to ESPNs Tim Bontempsthe perpetrator who allegedly threw a cup of ice cream has since been arrested.
Doncic initially seemed startled when the cup broke behind him between the midcourt and the three-point arc.
But it did little to slow down the Doncic-powered Mavericks who were clinging to beating a struggling Nets team.
Doncic was the star of Thursday night’s show in the Barclays, totaling 41 points, 14 assists and 11 rebounds for his first triple-double of the season.

The visiting Mavericks dominated for most of the extra period, holding on to a 129-125 win over Brooklyn.
Dallas defeated the Nets 17-13 in OT, and it started with Doncic pulling in a 112-112 draw by hitting a leading 18-footer.
He then got assists on three-pointers from Tim Hardaway Jr., Maxi Kleber and Reggie Bullock to extend the Mavericks’ lead to 123-114 with 3:10 to go.
Doncic had no idea what was happening behind him as Kevin Durant fired free throws
The Nets came in 127-123 on a three-pointer from Kevin Durant with 26.2 seconds to go and were within 128-125 on two free throws from Kyrie Irving with 16.5 seconds left.
Dallas’ Bullock split two free throws with 7.5 seconds left, and the game ended when Durant missed a three-pointer just before the buzzer.
The overtime defeat was Brooklyn’s third straight loss, despite the unadulterated brilliance of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

Irving scored 39 points, while Durant added 37 as Brooklyn shot 46.2 percent and hit 12 3-pointers in 35 tries.
The Mavericks return home where they will host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday.
While the Nets hope to break their losing streak at Barclays vs. Indiana.
