Family of Justin Mohn say they are in disbelief over beheading murder of his Army Corps of Engineers dad Michael after his headless corpse was found in bathroom of Levittown, Pennsylvania home

The family of the Pennsylvania man accused of beheading his own father before showing off his head in a YouTube video say they are struggling to come to terms with the barbaric attack.

Mary Jasch, the sister of victim Michael Mohn, 68, spoke to DailyMail.com a day after her cousin Justin Mohn, 32, allegedly beheaded his father at the family’s Levittown home on Tuesday.

‘It’s unbelievable. It’s very fresh. We can’t believe it. I can’t even imagine what his (Michael’s) wife is going through. No one can believe it,” she said.

The younger Mohn was arrested Tuesday night and charged with first-degree murder, hours after he beheaded his father and then held his head high in an unhinged video shared online, calling him a traitor and criticizing the federal government .

Justin Mohn, 32, was arrested late Tuesday in Pennsylvania after beheading his 68-year-old father Michael, police said

Michael Mohn was in the Army Corps of Engineers, where he worked as a geoenvironmental engineer in the Philadelphia area. Justin Mohn called his father a traitor to the country for being a federal employee for 20 years.

The force released a statement saying: “We are deeply saddened by the tragic death of our teammate Michael Mohn. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Mohn family and we are focused on supporting our grieving employees during this time’

According to a criminal complaint obtained by DailyMail.com, police were called to the scene after the alleged killer’s shocked mother, Denice, 63, called 911 to report she had found her husband’s decapitated corpse in a bathroom at their home found with a ‘large amount of blood’. around him’.

Police discovered the man’s head in a plastic bag placed in a cooking pot in a bedroom next to the bathroom, where they retrieved a large kitchen knife and a machete from the bathtub. Detectives also found bloody rubber gloves in a first-floor bedroom.

She reported to police that she had left the house around 2 p.m. that day and that her son and husband were the only ones there.

Police later received information about a 14-minute clip posted to YouTube in which Mohn stated he was the President of the United States and held up his father’s head in a bloody plastic bag while addressing the LGBTQ community, the Black Lives Matter movement, Antifa criticized. and the federal government in general.

Police have said it appears Mohn was reading from a script.

Angela Watson, communications director for the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, told DailyMail.com that Mohn was tracked by Middletown police on his cell phone as he traveled across the state.

She said his location first pinged outside the Fort Indiantown Gap military facility, and officers rushed to track him down.

Watson added: “Officers alerted the nearby restaurant and gas station that they were pursuing a suspect and told them to lock their doors.

“He was subsequently located outside the facility, where officers discovered his vehicle, but he was not inside. There was another ping within the installation and at that time the State Police were notified.

‘Mohn was found walking with the installation on one of the main roads and was taken into custody without incident. He was armed with a firearm, and anything he said about his reasons for targeting the area is a question for the prosecutor.”

Fort Indiantown police were notified of his presence in the area at 9 p.m., with Mohn arrested 25 minutes later and spent the night in a holding cell before being transported back to Middletown police.

His father’s car, a 2009 Toyota Corolla, was towed back to Bucks County so investigators could continue their investigation.

Earlier on Wednesday, a former roommate of Mohn’s at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, who lived with him for two years, told DailyMail.com that the self-proclaimed “messiah” showed signs of paranoia as early as 2016 and believed the government was out to ” to get him.”

“I don’t really know how I could have heard about it and not been surprised,” he said. “It’s not hard to see how he got to the point he was in that video from when I knew him.”

While Mohn often railed against the Biden administration, his former roommate went on to say that the alleged killer was always anti-establishment and had a “deeply paranoid side” — regardless of who was in the White House.

The roommate also claimed that Mohn was prone to violent outbursts, and regularly bragged to him about the fights he was involved in – once destroying their shared apartment over dirty dishes.

‘When I came back I found it completely destroyed. He punched holes in the walls and broke the mirror,” he said. “When I confronted him about it, he basically said he blacked out, didn’t remember doing any of it and was really angry.

‘He was definitely prone to outbursts, and fits of rage and things like that. He would say he had extreme PTSD, but didn’t go into detail about it or what caused it.”

In the YouTube video, Mohn said many saw him as the Messiah and wanted him as president, while urging family members living with federal employees to kill them.

He blamed the federal government for “woke mobs” and migrants who he said are destroying the United States, and railed against “globalists and communists.”

DailyMail.com has chosen to hide images from the clip, which is too disturbing to reproduce.

In the beheading segment, he rants about taxes, declaring that the economy is “nearly destroyed” and that most Americans “can no longer afford the American dream.”

Mohn also said he offered a $1 million bounty to anyone who could kill top officials, including FBI Director Christopher Wray, Attorney General Merrick Garland and former Attorney General Bill Barr.

He said there was a “globalist and communist” plot against the United States, before ranting about the federal government and holding his father’s head in a silver cauldron.

DailyMail.com has not been able to confirm whether Mike Mohn was a federal employee. The retirement age for federal employees is generally 62.

“The FBI is aware of the incident and is working closely with the lead agency to support their investigation. We refer you to the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office for information regarding the case,” a spokesperson told DailyMail.com.

Mohn also reportedly worked as a debt collector and was obsessed with the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Clues to Mohn’s downward spiral can be found in a legal battle against the U.S. government, with Mohn suing them for negligently extending a student loan to him, leaving him “an overeducated white male” who could not find work.

He said in the filing that he graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2014 with a degree in agribusiness management.

In previous social media posts, Mohn has railed about a “civil war” between him and his followers and what he calls “The Cult.”

In an unhinged post, he wrote: “Even my own family holds to this cult belief and is willing to go to jail to prove it. Donald Trump, if this isn’t resolved ASAP, you too will be in jail for the rest of your life after I sue you for everything you own – that’s not a threat, it’s a promise, b****. ‘

The alleged killer’s Facebook accounts appear to have been deleted since Wednesday morning and his name cannot be found on X.
