A teenage boy is alleged to have murdered his software engineer father, mother and three of his four siblings in their $2 million Washington home, DailyMail.com can reveal.
Mark Humiston, 42, his wife Sarah and three of their children were found shot to death Monday in their rustic Fall City mansion on Lake Alice, about 30 miles (48 kilometers) east of Seattle, home to some of America’s most expensive homes.
A 15-year-old boy was taken into custody after allegedly killing five of the seven members of the family.
Police have not released the names or ages of the victims, or their relationships to each other.
But neighbors said the teenager killed his parents and siblings, except for one sister who managed to escape the massacre.

King County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Mile Mellis said the situation was “clearly a domestic violence incident” involving a “young man and firearms.”
Mellis added that there was “no significant confrontation with the young man who was taken into custody.”

According to KOMO News, the first call was about a suicide attempt and possible gunfire in a home.
The young girl who survived the shooting reportedly called 911 from a bathroom.
“It’s very early stages of this research, but it will impact a lot of people,” Mellis added.
“I can say it’s really going to be a tragic event for the community, for anyone who has any connection here.”

Mellis said Fall City, with a population of about 2,000, is a “fairly nice area, with a generally low crime rate.”
“This is a place where people come to raise their families,” he added.
The Snoqualmie Valley School District has sent an email to families warning that there may be “multiple school-age victims,” according to King5 news reporter Jake Wittenberg.
However, the district said the family involved “did not attend our schools.”
