FA CUP PREDICTIONS: Mail Sport experts – including CHRIS SUTTON and MARTIN KEOWN have their say

Manchester City and Manchester United take on each other at Wembley in the inaugural FA Cup final of the Manchester derby.

Pep Guardiola’s side are chasing a treble, having already secured the Premier League title and a place in the Champions League final.

Meanwhile, United hope not only to crash the party, but also win their second trophy of the season after winning the Carabao Cup in February.

The two sides have beaten each other in the Premier League this season and it will be the first time they have met in the famous league since their third round clash in 2012.

Below, Mail Sport experts give their thoughts on who will bring the famed trophy back to the North.

Manchester City will try to bolster their Treble hopes against Manchester United

Erik ten Hag’s United are looking for the second prize of the season at Wembley

CHRIS SUTTON: City 3-0 United

City’s stars have had their feet up so they’re eager to head here and if they play at their best at all, they’ll win comfortably.

United have had an excellent season which Erik Ten Hag has inherited, but City should have too much for them on this day.

MICHAEL RICHARDS: City 2-1 United

City will dominate possession but I don’t think it will be a walk when it comes to getting the result.

I rewatched the game between the teams in January and the damage Marcus Rashford inflicted came when he ran from deep down the middle.

It will be interesting to see if Ten Hag sets up Kyle Walker with Alejandro Garnacho. However, City has so many options and will get the job done.

Former striker Chris Sutton has claimed City will cruise past Manchester United with ease

Ex-City defender Micah Richards does not think it will be an easy victory for the national champions

MARTIN KEOWN: City 3-1 United

City have reigned supreme all season and the intensity of their rivalry will bring out the best in their football.

DALEY THOMPSON: City 3-1 United

They are said to be one of the best teams ever. By winning the FA Cup, and the small matter of the European Cup next weekend, they will at least be firmly in the fight.

NASSER HUSSAIN: City 3-0 United

City will win because they are one of the best football teams to ever play the game. And as an Arsenal fan I will feel better missing out on the title if they win the treble!

SIR CLIVE WOODWARD: City 2-1 United

Pep Guardiola is a great coach and this season I have been amazed at how his Manchester City side has peaked in the last three months.

Yes, Guardiola has had a lot of money to spend and his club’s finances are questionable, but getting every ounce of performance out of those players and constantly reinventing his team’s style takes something special.

He is the difference and is more important than any player. I think City will go on and win a historic treble.

SIR ALASTAIR COOK: City 3-1 United

City are too good and I just can’t see them losing.

LORD COE: City 3-1 United

Derbies aren’t always an exact science, especially Manchester derbies. But City are arguably the best Premier League team ever, player for player.

DAVID ‘BUMBLE’ LLOYD: City 3-1 United

I’ve lived in Manchester for much of my life – I’m old enough to go back to when City won the Cup in 1956 and Lancashire cricketer Jack Dyson scored one of the goals! But on Saturday I am completely neutral.

As much as I’d like to side with George Best, Bobby Charlton, Denis Law and Nobby Stiles, all I can see is an emphatic City win.

BARRY FRY – Ex-Busby Babe, now owner of Peterborough: City 2-3 United

There is no way United will let City do the treble.

ALVIN MARTIN – FA Cup winner with West Ham, 1980: City 1-2 united

My soccer brain tells me I’m wrong, but my soccer instinct tells me there’s a surprise in store
