Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz is rumored to be the love doctor behind speculation that Lewis Hamilton and Shakira are in the early stages of dating as the Colombian singer and British star spend more and more time together over the summer.
After a string of public outings, including a boat ride in Miami and dinner with friends in Barcelona, it’s been revealed that both parties are keeping it “fun and flirty” for now.
Shakira announced her divorce from football star Gerard Pique in June 2022 after spending 11 years together, and she is believed to be taking her time before plunging into a relationship in earnest again.
Hamilton, on the other hand, has been linked to a number of famous women such as Rita Oran and Nicki Minaj since he split up with his longtime girlfriend and American pop artist Nicole Scherzinger after seven years together.
Now Spanish sports journalist Pip Estrada claims Sainz, who is close friends with Hamilton, has linked his F1 partner to the ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ singer.

“Is it friends or is this a story from Instagram. I follow you and invite you to dinner?” Emma Garcia, host of Fiesta, a TV talk show in Spain, asked via Marka.
“It’s because of mutual friends,” replied Pipi, whose real full name is Jose Manuel Estrada. She knows Hamilton loves her music and suddenly she got the bug to get to know Formula 1 and that’s how they got together.

Cruise, who is also good friends with 38-year-old Hamilton, was at the Miami Grand Prix with Shakira and allegedly thought he and the ‘Whenever, Wherever’ singer and he ‘had incredible chemistry and took it as a slam considered dun. ‘would be dating in a pinch’.

But now the action movie star is said to have “tainted his pride” after Shakira informed him that she is more interested in his “buddy”, Lewis, than him.
