Extreme weight loss star Brandi Mallory died due to “complications of obesity,” according to medical officials in Georgia who performed her autopsy.

The reality TV personality, who died last month at the age of 40, was found dead on November 9 in the parking lot of a Chipotle restaurant in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

In newly released documents reviewed by TMZthe Fulton County Medical Examiner said that “complications of obesity were considered a major condition contributing to death.”

The Extreme Weight Loss star's death was ruled natural, the newspaper reported, noting that law enforcement found “no sign of foul play” in their investigation into Mallory's death.

Mallory suffered from an enlarged heart and medical officials said blood tests indicated precursors to diabetes.

Mallory had “trace amounts of marijuana and alcohol” in her system when she died, but they did not factor into the reason for her death, the coroner said.

Mallory had not suffered any recent injuries that contributed to her death, officials said.

Mallory was remembered last month as a positive force in the lives of all her loved ones, when a friend of the reality TV personality said they were “so impressed with her as a person.”

Her friend and fellow makeup artist Eva Jane shared it People on Nov. 27 about how the Extreme Weight Loss star was “full of life” and “an eternal optimist.”

After her friends and family celebrated Mallory's life, Jane said the funeral was somber but also lighthearted.

Jane also added that Mallory's loved ones not only shed tears, but also shared personal stories of moments of happiness they shared with her and the joy she had spread.

“I was so impressed with her as a person because she was so positive, just an eternal optimist,” Jane said of her late friend.

Jane also said Mallory had an “electric” and “very big personality” that she will miss.

“I don't want to speak in clichés, like she lit up the room – but she did,” she continued. “She didn't complain or find fault with anyone or anything.”

“She was full of life, always looking for a way to make the atmosphere and environment around her that much better, and encouraging everyone around her,” she said. 'She had a very big personality. She was electric.”

Jane also described Mallory as someone who had an authentic nature and was always herself, without pretenses.

“She really said, 'What you see is what you get.' She was pure,” Jane said.

“Some people are all about PR and marketing, meant to show someone in their best light, but she was really herself,” she explained. “When someone like Brandi passes away, it really becomes harder to comprehend and understand.

“You think, 'Why would someone so great have to go home?'

The reality star died suddenly after picking up dinner at Chipotle on November 9.

She was found in her car in the parking lot by a concerned business owner who called authorities after witnessing what he believed was a woman sleeping behind the wheel.
