EXCLUSIVE: What the ‘perfect couple’ looks like in every US state: AI imagines the ideal male and female pairs based on thousands of survey answers

>

At first glance, you could be forgiven for confusing these people as the latest Love Island contestants.

But the adorable faces weren’t actually real, and were instead artificial intelligence.

Love experts surveyed thousands of Americans about the qualities they find most attractive in men and women, including personal style, hair color, and more.

They then asked the AI to create an image of what it would look like based on those answers.

The results are actually taken from two individual works conducted by the love experts at Shane Co, who produced The Perfect Boyfriend and The Perfect Girlfriend.

But now DailyMail.com has combined the results to create the hottest couple for each state. Because of the way the studies were conducted, they can only be applied to heterosexual couples.

The results include answers from 4,100 Americans from across the country. Due to the small number of participants, the expo does not include Alaska, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, Washington, D.C., and Wyoming.

Shane Co used the AI image generator Midjourney to create the avatars, which produces images based on users’ text prompts.

Women in each state were asked what their ideal mate looked like in terms of hair color, eye color, hairstyle and personal style.

The men were surveyed about their girlfriends’ ideal hair length, hair color, eye color, hair type, bangs or no bangs, hair part and style, makeup, personal style and jewelry style.
