NRL WAG Christy Young tied the knot with Canterbury Bulldogs star Max King last week in a beautiful wedding in Sydney.
The brunette, 25, told Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday that her relationship with Max was much stronger because they waited until they were married to have sex.
“I really saw how true that was when we committed to waiting. Was it hard? 100 percent, but it’s worth it because we didn’t have sex as a distraction,” she said.
“We had to go on dates and fill our time together in ways other than Netflix and chilling.” First we built friendship and love, then sex is sprinkled on top.
‘I can honestly say that Max and I have the best relationship because we waited.’

Yang went on to reveal the inspiration behind her stunning wedding dress.
“I was marrying the king in a castle, the stunning Curzon Hall. So the venue and the styling were definitely the inspiration behind the look,” she began.
“I was very fortunate to work with an amazing bridal fashion to create a look that fit our space perfectly. We wanted the first look to be something classic, timeless, but still modern. The princess’s full skirt, with a leg slit, was perfect!’

The couple, who are both Christians, famously abstained from sex during their engagement.
“We’re so vocal and proud of our faith… it’s never been something we’ve shied away from because it’s so important to us,” Christie told Hughesy, Ed and Erin on 2DayFM in March.
Young laughed as she described how their pastor set her up with King, and she believes the celibate couple must have helped his game on the football field.
