EXCLUSIVE Teacher Jailed For Having Sex With 15-Year-Old Male Student, Gets Fired From Job As Construction Site Guard So She Doesn’t Distract Workers
Teacher jailed for having sex with 15-year-old male student is released from job as a construction security guard so she doesn’t distract workers
- Kandice Barber was sentenced to six years and two months in prison for taking care of a child
A teacher jailed for having sex with a student has been relieved of her job as a security guard at a construction site after distracting workers, MailOnline has learned.
Kandice Barber worked as part of a plan to get her back into the community after temporary release from prison.
She was jailed for six years and two months in 2021 after being convicted of grooming a 15-year-old and having sex with him in a field.
The judge condemned the mother of three as “beyond despicable” for seducing the boy with topless photos and explicit messages.

Barber, who worked at a school in Princess Risborough, Bucks, flirted with the teen by sending messages at a school assembly.
The blonde teacher had bombarded the then 15-year-old student with messages, including one asking him “do you like boobs or bum?” — and sent him a photo of himself on a bed surrounded by sex toys.
She was discovered after a topless photo she sent her victim circulated so much that it was eventually passed on to the principal of their school.
She has been working as a gatekeeper on a building site in Hounslow, west London, since May.
Wearing an orange helmet and a high-viz jacket, her job was to control drivers bringing goods to the construction site.
She would also check security passes for pedestrians entering the site where 74 new homes are being built for the council by Wates Construction.
But after she was photographed at work – and builders became aware of her sordid past – she has not been seen on the property close to Heathrow Airport.
One contractor said: ‘Nobody knew anything about her until she was photographed. Lots of people talked about her, but we haven’t seen her since.”
It is believed that Barber was moved to another construction site by Wates so that she would not distract others.
She had been released on license after serving just over two years of her sentence as part of a Justice Department plan.
As part of the Release of Temporary License (ROTL), she would be paid for the work.
Officials are said to have conducted a risk assessment before placing them on the construction site.
As a security guard, Barber is said to have had limited contact with other employees simply by opening and closing a metal gate on the property.
Before she was moved, she would have loved to work on the site.
One contractor said: ‘She looks attractive, so she’s already proving to be a hit with the guys, who have no idea of her background.
“It’s no secret she’s a huge flirt and many of the staff there have already noticed her.”
Wates Construction is one of many companies working with the Department of Justice to help inmates reintegrate into the community.
She is likely to be released from prison early next year after serving half of her sentence.

Her ex-husband has revealed that she blamed him for the breakdown of their five-year marriage after he stood by her at her trial in 2020.
Danny Barker said he supported his wife after she protested her innocence, but has not seen her in a year.
They stopped talking after he revealed he had been talking to another woman online and Kandice told him he “broken her heart.” She filed for divorce.
Barker, 40, has a new partner who is expecting his baby in the fall.
