EXCLUSIVE: Taylor Swift will NOT feature former flame Matty Healy OR his band The 1975 on the reissue of her 1989 album
- A spokesperson for the singer has ruled out Healy appearing on the album
- The 33-year-old country sensation briefly dated the 1975 frontman this year
- They had a whirlwind two-month romance before splitting in May
Taylor Swift will not be featuring her former flame, Matty Healy, on her upcoming new album, DailyMail.com can confirm.
The 33-year-old Anti-Hero singer is re-releasing her critically acclaimed fourth album, 1989, next month, and while it was reported to feature a collaboration with her former flame, this is not the case.
Swift and Healy sent the showbiz world into meltdown with their whirlwind romance, which followed Swift’s split from boyfriend of six years Joe Alwyn, 34, in February.
It was claimed that Swift and Healy recorded a song together while they were dating, and that the country singer was “still going to release the song” – despite splitting in May.

Whirlwind romance: The 33-year-old singer dated Healy for two months before they called things off in May
An insider claimed to The Sun: ‘They’re not even in touch anymore but there are no hard feelings and Taylor will still release the song.
‘Taylor was a big fan of The 1975 before she and Matty started dating. The band worked with her on her Midnights album, but the songs they made were never released.
“She has a few songs to choose from with the band, but she will release the song they made while they were together.”
However, DailyMail.com can confirm that this is not the case, with a spokesperson for Swift confirming that ‘neither Matt Healy nor The 1975 are on this album.’
The country idol announced last month at a show in LA that her next Taylor’s Version album would be her 2014 hit, 1989. She also revealed that it would include five new songs.
Revealing the album cover on her Instagram page after the event, she said that this is “my most FAVORITE re-recording I’ve ever done because the five From The Vault songs are so insane.” I can’t believe they were ever left behind.’
The 2014 album, which originally contained 13 songs on the standard version and 16 songs on the deluxe edition, includes her hit singles Shake It Off and Blank Space.
“So here we are on the last night of the US leg of the Eras tour in the eighth month of the year, on the ninth day,” she teased at the time, telling the audience that she had “been planning this for a long time.” . .’

Moving on: Swift is reportedly dating Travis Kelce
Writing on Instagram, Swift gushed: ‘Surprise!! 1989 Taylor’s version is on its way to you. The 1989 album changed my life in countless ways, and it fills me with so much excitement to announce that my version of it will be released on October 27th.”
Swift and Healy split at the end of May, just three days after he was seen kissing a male security guard during a concert in Denmark.
The performer was initially linked to Swift after their first meeting, which took place in 2014.
Since her split from Healy, Swift has reportedly been dating football star Travis Kelce, 33, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.
“Taylor and Travis have been hanging out quietly,” a source told The Messenger on Tuesday.
“She saw him when she was in New York City a few weeks ago.”
Earlier this month, Healy and model Gabbriette Bechtel, 26, packed on the PDA as they shared several steamy kisses while strolling around New York City together.
