And she explained that his premature arrival meant she remained quite small throughout the pregnancy.
“I haven’t experienced the misery some women go through in the last month,” she explained.
The new mom said she “didn’t feel too much pressure” to lose weight after giving birth, adding, “I gave myself so much grace.”
She revealed that she doesn’t diet, but instead focuses on “eating as clean as possible.”
She also says breastfeeding and pumping have helped her “boost her metabolism” and “burn calories.”
“I have no idea when the photo shoot is, so all I do is eat as clean as I can, but I still spend money,” she said.
‘For example, last night during this charity event I ate four sandwiches, in addition to my meal. I haven’t been on a diet since giving birth.
‘I’ve been breastfeeding a lot – I’m pumping, breastfeeding my child – and I think that’s really burned a lot of calories and really boosted my metabolism.
If I’m honest, I came back pretty quickly.

As for her workout routine, Jena revealed that she worked out with New York City-based fitness coach Olivia Figueroa.
She said they are doing virtual sessions together since she lives with her husband and son in Jupiter, Florida, while Olivia is in Manhattan.
“I literally put my phone on a little tripod, and it’s almost like she’s in the gym with me, telling me what to do,” she explained.
“I trained with her the year I got married, and I feel like I was in the best shape my entire life. So I’m working with her again.’
The SI Swimsuit Rookie said she likes to “mix it up,” so she also takes several workout classes during the week — including Pure Barre.

“I’m just trying to get stronger as much as I can because I want to feel my best,” Jena (seen earlier this month) added. ‘But I don’t put any pressure on myself’
‘I just try to perform as best as I can because I want to feel my best. My background is in pageants and swimsuit modeling, so I feel like myself (when I look my best), she continued. “But I don’t put any pressure on myself.”
Jena said her main focus lately has been strength training, which she started after discovering a video on Instagram in which a woman claimed lifting gave her a “big butt.”
“Something about that video stuck in my head, so I’ve been working on getting my weight up a little bit,” she added.
“I can get to this sweet spot and hit a bit of a training plateau, so I upped my weight after watching her video because I was so impressed with what she was doing with her fitness.” I’m trying to lift heavier. I’m trying to build up a loot.’
