EXCLUSIVE: Nicole Appleton reveals ‘natural’ pregnancy in her 40s was ‘easy’ as she discusses ‘wonderful second marriage’ to Stephen Haines

Nicole Appleton has revealed that her ‘natural’ pregnancy at 40 was ‘easy and smooth’, as she said in a candid new interview.

The 48-year-old singer, who welcomed daughter Skipper in March 2020, discussed a “beautiful second marriage” to Stephen Haines.

Nicole was previously married to Liam Gallagher from 2008. They dated in 2000 and share a son, Gene, 22.

The former couple divorced in April 2014 after splitting in 2013 when she discovered he had fathered a child with American journalist Liza Ghorbani.

Nicole spoke exclusively to MailOnline at the Tina Turner musical in London and gave insight into her pregnancy with Skipper and her family life.

She explained: ‘My 45 year old baby was completely natural. The pregnancy was just as easy the second time and everything went smoothly.

‘I love it. She is the best second child I could ever have in my entire life.”

Nicole married Facebook director Stephen at Cliveden House in Taplow, Berkshire, in October 2021.

The news came as a shock to fans, as Nicole hadn’t announced that she was engaged — let alone planning her wedding.

Talking about their relationship, she added, ‘Married life is great for the second time’

Elsewhere, the singer discussed All Saints and revealed that the band is taking time out.

Nicole said: ‘We’re still together but we’ve taken a year to do our own thing so that’s why we’re enjoying this time because we’ve been working quite hard.

“Our last album isn’t that old yet, so we’re using this year to enjoy our families and do some different projects, but other than that we’re still together.

In March 2020, Nicole shocked fans when she revealed she had given birth after “hiding her pregnancy from all her friends.”

Nicole shared the news on Instagram alongside a photo of her newborn, Skipper, and Stephen.

The media personality wrote, “After hiding my pregnancy for the past nine months… which was SOOOOO hard and keeping her a secret from all my friends.

‘I can finally announce our incredible news!!..Our little girl ‘Skipper Hudson Haines’ has arrived Stephen & Gene are in love!!! I’m SOOO HAPPY!!”

Nicole was first pictured with Stephen in March 2019 and the couple have been dating since November 2018.
