EXCLUSIVE: Melania Trump runs errands in New York while Donald hosts LIV golf stars in Bedminster

She’s not guilty… of skimping on fashion.

Former first lady Melania Trump was spotted running errands in New York as her husband prepares to host yet another event for the Saudi Arabia-backed LIV golf tournament, while his lawyers took another plea in federal court.

Melania wore white sunglasses as she strolled the Upper East Side, having traveled in a six-car convoy.

It was the boldest part of an ensemble that included a $6,400 Chanel glossy lambskin handbag. She wore Manolo Blahnik pumps that retail for $745.

The former model, 53, visited a few business addresses, including one that houses a high-end salon, with her hair down over a dark denim jacket and white top.

Her walk came Wednesday, on a day when her husband hit the driving range at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, as he once again prepared to play host as his attorneys continued their multi-state defense.

The Bedminster Club is hosting the latest LIV tournament from August 11-13, just weeks after LIV and the PGA tour announced talks for a merger that stunned the sporting world.

Bedminster is also where Trump allegedly flashed a secret war plan during an interview for his former chief of staff Mark Meadows’ autobiography, according to the indictment.

Trump was chatting with golf professionals on Thursday, including American Patrick Reed.

The former president was working on his swing on Wednesday when he was pictured with golfer Bryson LeChambeau, one of several top players to sign up with LIV, which is backed by Saudi Arabia’s Sovereign Investment Fund.

In an interview in Bedminster on Wednesday night, he told Newsmax that his wife supports him “100 percent.”

“She really is, she said the other day that it’s just so sad what’s happening to our country,” the former president said. “She said it so poignantly and sadly—but she expressed it.”

Trump appeared relaxed on the court, but he has enough on his mind as his legal fees and charges pile up.

His lawyers filed a new plea on his behalf today after new charges against him in the investigation of classified documents. They were revealed in a stunning new, superseding indictment filed late last month by prosecutors in the case.

Trump was not required to attend the hearing before U.S. Magistrate Judge Shaniek Mills Maynard. His attorney Todd Blanche entered his plea — before he has to fly to Washington for another hearing in a Trump case.

Prosecutors filed a new suit in the case in July with classified documents accusing Trump and his aides of conspiracy to remove surveillance footage even after a grand jury subpoenaed the footage.

His lawyers are due to return to federal court in Washington, D.C., on Friday morning to face prosecutors over a protective order. U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan will decide what restrictions Trump should place on what he can reveal about the evidence his lawyers see in the case.

Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team cited some of Trump’s recent online posts in their own file requesting a protection order that Trump’s lawyers say is too restrictive.

A fourth possible charge awaits in Fulton County, Georgia, where police this month set up barricades in preparation for possible action.

Trump’s golf courses hosted LIV during the controversial first year.

In June, under pressure as several of its top stars fled, the PGA Tour announced that the two leagues would end tackles and counterattacks and negotiate a merger.

It was an effort to “ensure all stakeholders benefit from a model that maximizes excitement and competition among the game’s best players.”
