The former esthetician is the first transgender contestant to appear on E4’s dating show Married At First Sight UK.
Speaking about her decision to appear in the show, she told MailOnline: ‘I’m really proud of it because I was scared to say I’m trans but now I can hold my head up.
“I changed a lot of people’s minds and I also found myself.” I’m proud to say I’m trans and it’s just a label. I’m still like any other girl.
“I don’t want to be anyone’s dirty secret, but I feel like people these days are not educated.”
