EXCLUSIVE: Love Is Blind star Marshall Glaze reveals he had ‘vivid vision’ of new girlfriend Chay Barnes ‘at the altar’ on their SECOND DATE – after failed engagement with Jackie Bonds

Love Is Blind star Marshall Glaze had a “vivid vision” of himself at the altar with his new girlfriend Dr. Chay Barnes on their second date.

The reality star, 27, failed to make it to his wedding day with ex-girlfriend Jackie Bonds after their relationship on the Netflix dating show ended in an acrimonious split.

Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com about the moment he realized things would be serious with the nurse, the TV personality admitted it happened sooner than expected.

“It was actually our second date,” he began. “I had a very vivid vision – and I told her about it – where I saw our lives, years later.”

He continued, “I was finally able to get to the altar and I saw her there. And for me it was, ‘Okay, this is it.’

After struggling to maintain his relationship with Jackie following tensions over her desire for him to be less “emotional” and more “dominant,” Marshall explained that he was attracted to Chay’s ability to communicate her vulnerability .

He explained, “I knew because of the conversation we had. They were not flat.

“She knows how to communicate and she told me really deep things about herself that I feel like she’s never shared with anyone before. That level of vulnerability just captivated me 100 percent and I knew about it.”

Reflecting on the difference between his previous relationship and now, Marshall admitted, “My cousin said it best: rejection is God’s (or the universe’s) diversion.

“I think that’s exactly what happened to me because I found the person who I think I’m going to spend the rest of my life with.”

Marshall continued, “It came as a blow to me because of what I had been through, not only with what was happening in the area of ​​blind love, but also in previous relationships.

“I can identify many different ways in which I can show up differently in this relationship and identify different ways in which my current partner is different.”

Marshall then commented, “Comparison is the worst and I don’t compare to anyone, but Chay is just so much better and more committed. She’s just a better person to me.”

Reflecting on the advice he has for others who are dating again after a big breakup, he said, “I think don’t block your blessings is definitely the saying here. You close yourself off to what could be your happy ending. The advice I would say to someone like that is: lean forward.”

He continued, “I think closing off that vulnerability limits you and you don’t get to see if anything happens if you don’t try. As Michael Jordan said, “You miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take,” and I think that applies to the dating world.”

“As far as my relationship goes, we did it privately for the first eleven years of our marriage, and for the last six years we did it publicly.

“When your relationship is questioned and doubted, and when people don’t treat your partner the way you would want them to be treated, it definitely spills over into your family life.”

Explaining how her marriage has withstood past scrutiny, she added, “For the first time, we had to really talk about the kind of respect the other needed and really stand up for the relationship.”

“You’re being questioned about your marriage, and you suddenly have to prove how strong you are to other people, and it’s definitely strengthened us.”

Reflecting on how gossip and outside interest in a marriage can cause turmoil, she continued, “Once something has happened in the stratosphere, if someone says something on TV, there are going to be people who believe it anyway.

She added: “You have to eliminate a lot of negative voices. Ultimately, the person who doesn’t believe in your love and doesn’t believe in what you have is not someone you need around you and in your life.

“I mean, if it’s your parents, you’d obviously hope they know better than to listen to other people. But as long as you and your partner are happy and putting each other first, I feel like you can drown out all the noise.”
