“LeSportsac approached us about doing something with them and we thought it was a great idea,” Johnson told Daily Mail.

‘I designed an entire collection for them and halfway through the season I had the idea that they would debut at the same time as the spring collection, so what if we try to coordinate that.’

After 21 years in the industry, Johnson believes he has come into his own with a more fine-tuned design process.

‘We offer our customers, who are so loyal and enthusiastic, beautiful things that they really respond to.

“It’s a beautiful collection, every piece is so beautiful, I went crazy seeing it all come together,” he said.
