EXCLUSIVE: Kelly Osbourne furiously denies claims she’s had plastic surgery to enhance her 85lb weight loss – as mom Sharon fires back at critics who accused her of ‘cheating’ by using Ozempic to slim down

Kelly Osbourne has dismissed claims that she had cosmetic surgery on her face, insisting that her changing face is simply due to her weight loss – while her mother Sharon Osbourne shrugged off critics of her own who accused her of cheating by slim down with the drug Ozempic.

Doting new mum Kelly, 38, who welcomed baby Sidney nine months ago with partner Sid Wilson, proudly underwent gastric surgery in 2018, which she has hailed as one of her “best decisions.”

However, since she had the medical procedure, she’s been getting a barrage of questions about her striking jawline.

In an exclusive conversation with DailyMail.com ahead of The Osbournes Podcast’s much-anticipated return on Sept. 12 after a long five-year hiatus, Kelly shut down speculation that she’d tweaked her face — while also expressing a wish that people would be less critical would be.

Both Kelly and Sharon believe that people should do what makes them happy when it comes to surgery and weight loss

“I’ve never had a procedure like plastic surgery,” she said. “There are things I definitely want to do when I get older, but I’m too scared, aren’t I?”

“Oh, she’s a coward!” mother Sharon, 70, intervened. ‘A wimp!’

“I did Botox, that’s all,” Kelly continued. “It’s weird because now that I’ve lost weight, everyone is criticizing and trying to figure out what I’ve done, and I’ve basically just lost weight. It’s just the shape of my face!

“And everyone knows I had weight loss surgery, and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. But there’s a whole issue with it: “well, you didn’t do it the right way”. There’s no right way.

“The road to happiness is different for everyone, and I think rather than tearing the journey apart, they should just be happy that you’ve reached your destination.”

Sharon also dismisses the naysayers who have been critical of her decision to use Ozempic to help her lose weight, pleading that it shouldn’t be seen as “cheating” and that “people need to lighten up.”

Ozempic, also known as semaglutide, is a weight-loss drug aimed at patients with type 2 diabetes.

It lowers their blood sugar and reduces the risk of heart attacks and strokes in those who also have heart disease.

Sharon emphasizes that using Ozempic for weight loss should not be seen as “cheating.”

Beloved TalkTV presenter and former X Factor judge Sharon lost more than 30 pounds while taking the drug over a four-month period.

“People think it’s cheating because you haven’t worked out for three hours a day, or you don’t have a brilliant new coach, so you’re cheating,” she said. ‘It’s not cheating.

“It’s just something you choose to lose weight.” So what’s the problem? I do not understand.

“It’s like when people go through cosmetic surgery and say, ‘No, it’s a new cream,’ or, ‘I now sleep with a silk pillow.’ Just own it.

“It’s your path in life, if you want to do it, do it.” Good luck. If it makes you happy: fine.’

Sharon shed light on her experience using the treatment, revealing that she was incredibly nauseated.

“I felt like I wanted to throw up for three weeks and then it just changed,” she said.

She also made it clear that she is not in favor of young people taking the weight-loss drug, stressing that it “is not for teenagers at all” and that it would be “dangerous in the hands of children.”

Big return: The Osbournes Podcast makes a comeback after a five-year hiatus

“You have to be really mature to do it to understand what you’re doing to yourself,” she added.

Both Sharon and Kelly are gearing up for the return of their podcast, which will see them join Ozzy and Jack Osbourne, as well as a host of celebrity guests, for a 20-episode season.

“We’re not holding anything back,” Kelly teased. “I talk about my journey through treatment, and how I got back into treatment two years ago, and my mental health.

“There’s such a stigma around mental health and not enough positive talk about it, I don’t think.”

“We’re not being filtered,” Sharon added. It is what it is, and you know, it’s real life.’

“We have fun together,” Kelly beamed. “And it’s funny how the topic of conversation always ends up in the same place: in the gutter!”
