Britney Spears has angered her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake with a slew of accusations about their time together, according to insiders, who claim the pop princess ‘doesn’t care who gets offended’.
Britney, 41, opened a Pandora’s box with her new memoir The Woman in Me, in which she claims she had an abortion at 19 because Justin was ‘not ready’ to be a father – before she accused him cheating on her with a celebrity and ending their three-year relationship with a text message.
The NSYNC frontman, 42, has reportedly refrained from contacting Britney to express his anger over the fallout – the stress of which reportedly ruined his wedding anniversary to Jessica Biel.
“Justin hasn’t contacted Britney at all about this and he won’t because he can’t say anything to her,” a source close to the Toxic singer told DailyMail.com exclusively. ‘She was there and only tells it from her point of view.

A source tells DailyMail.com exclusively: Justin (with Britney in January 2002) ‘isn’t happy at all with what has come out of this book so far’
Britney will release her highly anticipated memoir The Woman In Me on October 24
‘That doesn’t mean he’s okay with it. Justin is not happy at all with what has emerged in this book.”
They added: ‘Creating this book has given Britney life and she really doesn’t care who is offended by anything in the book because it is what happened.
‘She was there and experienced it. Nobody can say anything. She has taken all of this out of her and is now moving on.”
A second insider claimed the “baggage” from Britney’s memoir was “stressful” for Justin and his wife Jessica, whose October 19 wedding anniversary was overshadowed.
The couple married in 2012, ten years after his divorce from Britney. They share sons Silas, eight, and Phinneas, three.
“Britney’s book, with all the revelations that come from it, has not been the best for his anniversary celebration,” they said. “Having it in the zeitgeist hasn’t been a topic of ongoing conversation, but Justin and Jessica have certainly talked about it.
“And to have to think about all that at a time when they should be celebrating their love for each other, it hasn’t been the most fulfilling day lately, it’s been a little stressful.”
They claimed he’s trying to focus on NSYNC’s new music and his upcoming movie, adding, “He’s trying to figure it out and avoid the naysayers.”
DailyMail.com has reached out to reps for Britney and Justin.
The couple dated from 1999 to 2002, when their divorce was announced amid mounting rumors Britney had been unfaithful.
Justin seemed to reinforce the story with his 2002 hit Cry Me a River, in which he sings, “You don’t have to say, what you did / I already know, I found out from him / Now there’s just no chance / For you and I.’
The singer even went so far as to hire a Britney look-alike for the music video.

Writing about that period, Britney describes the Cry Me A River video as “a woman who looks like me cheats on him and he wanders around sad in the rain.”
She went on to write that the media attention the video received turned her into a “whore who broke the heart of America’s golden boy,” when in fact she was “comatose in Louisiana” nursing a broken heart while Justin “ran around happily.” Hollywood’.
The mother of two has confessed to cheating on her ex by kissing her choreographer Wade Robson in a bar, but she also hinted that Justin was unfaithful several times, including with a celebrity whose identity she has not revealed.
She wrote that the What Goes Around Comes Around hitmaker was photographed in London in 2000 with “one of the girls from All Saints” and also bragged to one of her backup dancers about a girl he hooked up with in Las Vegas.
Britney has also opened up in harrowing detail about the abortion she secretly had at home when she was just 19.
A separate source previously told DailyMail.com that Justin had hoped their decision to end the pregnancy would remain ‘secret forever’.
“Justin thought the decision they made was a joint one and he planned to never talk about it and keep it a secret forever,” they said.
“Now that Britney has mentioned it, and it will forever be in her book and whatever else she decides to mention, Justin is going to try not to say anything about it because he knows that anything he says from this point on probably will are thrown back. at him.’
Britney made the ‘painful’ decision to terminate the pregnancy in late 2000 after becoming pregnant.
She wrote: ‘It was a surprise, but for me it was not a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected that one day we would start a family together. This would just be a lot sooner than I expected.

As fans know, Justin (seen at a concert in 2014) accused Britney of cheating on him after their breakup over his hit Cry Me A River.
“He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young. I’m sure people will hate me for this, but I agreed not to have the baby.”
In the years following their breakup, Justin wasn’t very friendly when it came to talking about their past relationship.
During a 2003 interview with Barbara Walters on 20/20, the legendary journalist asked him if Britney had “kept her promise to wait to have sex until marriage.” Justin immediately burst out laughing.
A few years later, in 2006, he told journalist Robert Haskell, “If I were to write an article about (Britney), I wouldn’t be able to resist the urge to write everything nasty about her.”
In recent years, Justin has expressed regret for his past treatment of Britney and publicly apologized to her in 2021 following the release of the FX and Hulu documentary Framing Britney Spears.
He apologized to both his ex – and music icon Janet Jackson – for “missteps” during his career that he admitted contributed to “a system that condones misogyny and racism.”
“I’ve seen the posts, tags, comments and concerns and I want to respond,” he wrote. “I deeply regret the times in my life when my actions contributed to the problem, when I spoke out of turn, or did not stand up for what was right.”
Months later, he expressed support for Britney during her fight to end her thirteen-year conservatorship. She was placed under guardianship by her father, Jamie Spears, in 2008.
At the height of the #FreeBritney movement, Justin tweeted: “No one should ever be held against their will…or ever have to ask permission to access everything they’ve worked so hard for.”
Speaking on behalf of himself and his wife Jessica, he added: “Jess and I send our love and our absolute support to Britney during this time. We hope the courts and her family will put this right and allow her to live the life she wants.”
