EXCLUSIVE: Jennifer Lopez has helped Ben Affleck to ‘get to a better place’ with ex Jennifer Garner and overcome the ‘drama of the past’ – and is in full support of their ‘happy co-parenting’ set-up… as ‘friendly’ exes are seen hanging out in LA

Ben Affleck’s romance with Jennifer Lopez has strengthened his relationship with ex-wife Jennifer Garner – and “the drama of the past” and the “emotions” of their “divorce” are “long gone.”

Affleck, 51, and Garner, also 51 — who share daughters Violet, 17, and Seraphina, 13, and son Samuel, 11 — were spotted being extremely friendly with each other on Tuesday, eight years after they went their separate ways.

The two stars married in 2005 but split a decade later, and after ending their marriage, Affleck reconciled with his former lover Lopez, 54, to whom he was engaged in the early 2000s, a few years before meeting Garner .

Now, a source close to the actor and Jenny From the Block singer has claimed that it was actually his new romance with Lopez that finally helped him and Garner find peace.

“One of the things that got (Garner) and (Affleck) to a better place was – and is – JLO,” they shared.

‘Ben is healthy. The past drama and emotions of divorce are long gone and they all make it work.”

They added that Lopez and Garner are “friendly” to each other and that all of their children “love each other.”

“It’s really a very happy co-parenting situation,” the source said. “Everything is really good now and should be the same in the near and distant future.”

The insider said the Dazed and Confused star and the hitmaker, who tied the knot last July, are “very in love” after a year of marriage.

‘Their relationship is still on fire. They are very happy with each other, and there is no drama at all in their relationship right now,” they revealed.

They added that while Affleck is looking forward to returning to work as the writers and actors strikes come to an end, the couple has “enjoyed” the extra time spent together in recent months.

“They want to get back to work and are looking forward to the strikes being over, but they are also really enjoying the more time they are spending together,” they continued.

Now, someone close to the Jenny From the Block actor and singer has claimed that it was actually his new romance with Lopez that finally helped him and Garner find peace.

The source explained that Lopez is even turning to Affleck for advice on how to approach co-parenting with her ex, Marc Anthony, with whom she shares 15-year-old twins, Maximilian “Max” David Muniz and Emme Maribel Muniz.

“JLO and Ben have had a lot of conversations about how she deals with (Anthony), and they all figured it out. It’s actually inspiring and fun to watch,” they said.

Photographers spotted Affleck and Garner meeting in Los Angeles this week before climbing into his black Mercedes-Benz together.

Days earlier, they were seen sharing a moment of affection in his car.

He was pictured leaning his head on 13 Going’s shoulder on 30 Star’s shoulder as she gave him a hug.

Affleck and Garner first met while working on films like Pearl Harbor and Daredevil, in which they starred. Garner was previously married to Scott Foley, and their marriage lasted from 2000 to 2004.

After that split, the actress moved on with Affleck, with whom she tied the knot in Turks and Caicos in 2005.

The couple started their family with the birth of Violet, which took place that year, and they added Seraphina and Samuel to their family in 2009 and 2012, respectively.

They stayed together until 2015, when they announced they had split, although they waited three years before finalizing their divorce.
