A high-profile masseuse known for giving ‘lomi lomi’ massages to upscale residents of Sydney’s eastern suburbs has been charged with rape.
Steven Goldberg, 67, was arrested Monday at his cliff-top home in Dover Heights, in the city’s east end, after an alleged incident.
Police allege Goldberg sexually assaulted a 33-year-old woman during a massage.
Goldberg was taken to Waverley Police Station and charged with sexual intercourse without consent and sexually touching another person without consent.
He is due to appear at Waverley Local Court on Tuesday.

‘Earlier this month, officers from the Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command began an investigation following reports that a 33-year-old woman was allegedly sexually assaulted during a massage at a Dover Heights business.’ read a police statement.

Goldberg was later interviewed by KIIS FM presenters Kyle and Jackie O, with Jackie attending the clifftop home clinic and describing her out-of-body experience.
“I wish I could explain it, it was so emotional,” she told listeners.
“In a wonderful way, in such a beautiful way, when I cried, I also cried tears of happiness,”
