EXCLUSIVE: Grumpy Joshua Jackson cradles his three-year-old daughter as he steps out WITHOUT a wedding ring after wife Jodie Turner-Smith files for divorce

Joshua Jackson looked somber as he stepped out with his toddler daughter on Monday – as it emerged his wife Jodie Turner-Smith had filed for divorce.

British actress Jodie, 37 – who shares three-year-old Juno Rose Diana with Canadian star Josh, 45, – cited “irreconcilable differences” when filing, with the divorce date set as September 13.

The Dawson’s Creek star – who was exclusively revealed by DailyMail.com to have been left ‘heartbroken’ by the split – was seen without his wedding ring cradling the couple’s only child before heading to a car – marking the first time was that he was seen in the midst of the separation.

The actor wore a blue patterned shirt, white pants and sneakers as he chatted with his daughter and quickly answered a phone call.

He was seen doting on Juno – who wore a ballerina outfit – as he carried both her and a car seat before leaving.

This comes after sources exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com that the Dawson’s Creek alum is ‘not happy’ about the end of his marriage – while insisting there was no foul play involved and that their relationship was simply ‘running its course used to be’.

The couple noted their divorce date as September 13, according to TMZ. However, it wasn’t until this week that Jodie filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

“Joshua is heartbroken about the impending divorce. “He always thought he would get married and grow old with his family and everything would be happily ever after,” the insider said.

“He had the dream scenario in his head, and Jodie was his person and the person he thought he would be forever.”

The source added that Joshua’s main concern is his young child, as the Canadian actor is now looking ahead to a life of co-parenting.

“He never wanted this for their daughter,” the insider continued. ‘They are both great parents and will continue to be, he is just sad that they will no longer be together as a couple for their daughter. Through her they will always remain connected.’

They then followed up again, with Joshua brushing off split speculation while talking about his wife in a conversation with E! News.

Jodie and Joshua married in 2019, after meeting through mutual friends in 2018 and initially insisting their romance was just ‘casual’.

In 2021, Jodie appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers and joked that despite a fast start, their relationship was still going strong.

She then told Seth the story of how they met at a party and how they both felt an instant connection.
