EXCLUSIVE: Emily Blunt shows off her STUNNING looks as she puts the final touches to her makeup before walking the red carpet at George and Amal Clooney’s Albie Awards in New York

A little rain wouldn’t stop Hollywood’s top stars from celebrating the second annual Albie Awards in New York, held by the Clooney Foundation For Justice.

Thursday night’s star-studded ceremony was sponsored by make-up mogul Charlotte Tilbury and Versace, and with the beauty and fashion moguls behind the event, it was awash in glamour.

Hollywood’s power couple, George Clooney and Amal Clooney, were joined by famous friends like Daniel Craig, Anne Hathaway, Kate Moss and Cindy Crawford for the awards ceremony, held at the New York Public Library.

Despite the rain, Emily Blunt looked flawless at the star-studded ceremony. The actress wore a dress by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad and her sleek look was completed by perfectly applied makeup by Charlotte Tilbury.

The Albie Awards are named after the South African lawyer, activist, writer and former Chief Justice Albie Sachswho spent much of his life “defending people accused of racist laws and repressive security laws.”

The awards, presented by The Clooney Foundation for Justice, are intended “to shine a protective spotlight on courageous legal defenders at risk,” according to an official online statement.

The event honors individuals who, at great personal risk, have dedicated their lives to justice for the most vulnerable.

This year, Dr. Denis Mukwege, a gynecologist from the Republic of Congo, received the award for treating survivors of wartime sexual violence.

Actress Viola Davis presented Dr. Mukwege with the award and told him: “I thank you for radicalizing love, for making these women feel whole, and thank you for not abandoning them left.’

This year’s winners included a Ukrainian NGO, a Congolese anti-rape activist and the two Iranian journalists who broke the story of Mahsa Amini’s murder, which sparked the Woman Life Freedom uprising in their country.
