This is the moment an Indiana man who ran over his own mother during a high-speed police chase was tasered by police before being taken into custody.
JaJuan Burley, 38, allegedly accelerated 57-year-old Juanita Gray before he was shot at by officers in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Friday morning.
Police said he refused to stop and led police on a high-speed chase for about 20 minutes to his mother’s home, where an “item exchange occurred between the suspect and his mother.”
When Gray tried to go back inside, her son accelerated his vehicle into her, sending her several feet into the air, and struck an officer.
Footage shows Burley storming out of the car before he was tasered by police, restrained and arrested.

In the video, recorded by a family member, Burley is seen walking away from the vehicle and police officers are seen shouting instructions to him.
One of the officers uses a taser on him and the suspect falls to the ground.
“Give him handcuffs now,” an officer shouts as four people hold him back.
His mother Gray is seen injured on the ground and an officer tells her, “Ma’am, an ambulance is coming.”
The person recording is told by the police to get away, but he replies: ‘Why are you touching me? This is my house.’
Another officer tells him, “This is a crime scene, if you could just come over here, we would all appreciate it. This way there is no misunderstanding.’
Burley is then instructed to put his hands behind his back before being helped to his feet and led away.
Footage of the police chase, recorded from the house across the street, shows Fort Wayne Police Department officers yelling at Burley to stop his car.

But the suspect is seen accelerating across the front lawn and hits Gray, sending her flying into the air, and shocked onlookers can be heard exclaiming.
He grazed another officer as he tried to get away.
The footage ends as several gunshots ring out and Burley is struck by one of the bullets.
Both he and the officer he allegedly hit with the car suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Gray, who refused medical attention at the scene, is expected to make a full recovery but is now charged with obstruction of justice.
The incident remains under investigation and Fort Wayne police claimed Burley was shot due to a “dangerous situation created by the suspect.”

Burley has been charged with destruction of a deadly weapon, attempted murder, disarmament, resisting arrest in a vehicle and criminal recklessness.
The incident is still under investigation. Fort Wayne police said Burley was shot due to a “dangerous situation created by the suspect.” Both he and the officer he allegedly hit with the car suffered non-life-threatening injuries
After the incident ended, crime scene tapes could be seen around the house.
Burley has been charged with destruction of a deadly weapon, attempted murder, disarmament, resisting arrest in a vehicle and criminal recklessness.
He also faces narcotics charges.
After a brush with death, Gray is charged with obstruction of justice, which is a misdemeanor.
