EXCLUSIVE: Dove ‘fat acceptance ambassador’ Zyahna Bryant – who ruined student’s life over misheard statement at BLM protest – melts down and calls cops over polite interview request

The Black Lives Matters activist who was at the center of an angry backlash after Dove announced a partnership with her has complained she felt “threatened” and called the police after a polite interview request.

DailyMail.com visited community organizer and University of Virginia student Zyahna Bryant, 22, who destroyed the life of white student Morgan Bettinger when she had her canceled over words she later admitted she “may have heard wrong,” Friday.

After a calm and pleasant conversation with a woman claiming to be her sister who explained that we just wanted to ask if Bryant wanted to address the furore, contact information was exchanged.

Moments later, before DailyMail.com had a chance to leave, we received a call from a man who introduced himself as Sean Lawton, her manager.

X-user Carole Thorpe has ditched her remaining Dove bars following news of Zyahna Bryant’s hiring and says she won’t be purchasing from the brand again

Lawton said, “Zyahna feels threatened right now. This is now about her safety.”

Dove’s decision to hire the controversial Bryant as a ‘fat acceptance ambassador’ has led thousands on social media to call for a boycott of their products in what is being billed as their ‘Bud Light moment’ – a reference to the disastrous the beer’s collaboration with Dylan Mulvaney.

On Friday, Bryant’s manager said, “The biggest concern right now is for her safety and her safety. “That means this has now entered the realm of a legal issue, so we cannot comment at this time.”

When asked what he meant by a “legal issue,” Lawton said. “It means that on the advice of the legal department I cannot comment.”

And revealing that his client was holed up in her Charlottesville home, Lawton added: “Are you in a gray SUV? She can see you from her window.”

Tycoon and anti-woke crusader Elon Musk also responded to the news of Bryant’s hiring by describing it as “confused”

Within 20 minutes of his call, DailyMail.com received a second call, this time from Charlottesville Police Chief Mike Kochis.

Kochis explained that he received a call from Bryant saying that “she felt uncomfortable” and “wanted to get ahead of any situation.”

He acknowledged that DailyMail.com had done nothing wrong, was on the public street, simply asked for an interview and left.

He described the family as “good people” and stated that he is not aware of any actual threats made against Bryant at this time.

In stark contrast, 24-year-old Bettinger was the target of numerous threats from an ill-informed online gang, fueled by Bryant’s claims that she heard the student threaten to turn Charlottesville protesters into “speed bumps” when she accidentally hit a encountered a group protesting against death. by George Floyd July 17, 2020.

Bryant tweeted Bettinger’s photo, saying, “The woman in this truck approached protesters in #Charlottesville and told us we were going to make ‘good speed bumps.’ Then she called the police and started crying and said we were attacking her.”

Bettinger is pictured in her car during the July 2020 protest. She insists she told a truck driver blocking the road that she was glad he was there to prevent a repeat of the 2017 Unite the Right rally , when a white supremacist struck and killed anti-racism protester Heather Heyer. But Bryant claimed Bettinger had suggested she wanted to harm George Floyd protesters

Video evidence does not show the moment Bettinger made the comment, but does show the aftermath of protesters banging on her car, yelling obscenities at her and mocking her for crying while calling her mother and the police.

The claims, which Bryant later admitted may not have been true, were retweeted a thousand times and a flood of dream-destroying hatred poured out on Bettinger, the daughter of a police officer.

Outraged conservatives have started boycotting Dove after the soap brand hired the infamous Black Lives Matter activist after she destroyed the life of a white student over a comment she later admitted she “heard wrong.”

Carole Thorpe, from Charlottesville, shared a photo Thursday of three bars of Dove soap thrown in the trash when she learned that Unilever’s brand had joined forces with Bryant to launch a “fat liberation” campaign.

Thorpe shared her horror at the news of Bryant’s glitzy Dove appearance, writing, “After hearing that Dove Beauty selected Zyahna Bryant — who ruined Morgan Bettinger’s life — as their ‘fat acceptance ambassador,’ THIS lifelong big lady threw and now former Dove customer the last three bars of Dove product she will EVER purchase. I also wrote to Unilever.’
