Danny Elfman was first noticed after he was accused of sexual abuse and sexual harassment by a second woman on Friday when he stepped out in Beverly Hills.
The 70-year-old musician cut a nonchalant figure while visiting an office building that houses several law firms.
The news about the former Oingo Boingo frontman, whose reclusive wife Bridget Fonda recently confirmed she had no plans to return to her acting career, was revealed by several sources earlier this week.
According to VarietyElfman was accused Thursday of misconduct by a woman using the pseudonym Jane Doe XX in a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.
The person claims that the singer harassed her from 1997 to 2002, starting when she was 21 years old and attending film school.

Jane Doe XX claimed that she initially maintained a cordial working relationship with the musician, whom she considered a mentor, although he eventually began exposing himself to her when they were together.
The person recalled an instance where she claimed the singer undressed and forced her to do the same during a visit to the Mercer Hotel in New York.
Although she claimed that she quickly put on her clothes after feeling uncomfortable, she recalled Elfman insisting that she see him bathe naked during their next meeting.
In her filing, Jane Doe XX wrote that the artist made a habit of taking off his clothes in her presence, telling her “that it was the only way he could work, be creative and be successful.”
The person later moved to Los Angeles, where she often visited the Grammy Award-winning artist at his home and slept next to him while he remained naked under the covers.
She claimed that even though she kept her clothes on and lay on his sheets, he told her that “every time you ever slept next to me, I would masturbate next to you.”
Jane Doe XX ended her working relationship with Elfman after he told her about his behavior in bed, and she stated that she experienced “shock, humiliation and shame” as a result of their connection.
The person claims that she has spoken to several of his acquaintances about the singer’s behavior, who expressed that there is nothing they can do about the artist because of “who he is.”

Jane Doe XX’s suit was filed against Elfman and his company, Musica de la Muerta, and she has alleged that he subjected her to sexual assault, gender violence, intentional infliction of emotional distress, sexual harassment and negligence.
Her lawsuit was filed under the California Sexual Abuse and Cover-Up Accountability Act, which allows cases that would normally fall under the statute of limitations to be revived if there is evidence of institutional obstruction.
The musician was previously sued by composer Nomi Abadi for breach of contract for failing to make all his settlement payments related to his alleged sexual misconduct.
According to Rolling stonethe singer owed a total of $830,000 from Elfman, who failed to pay two installments worth $42,500 in July 2019 and 2021, respectively.
Although Abadi’s filing did not include details about the reason for the settlement, sources spoke to the media to confirm that the Oscar-nominated artist was accused of sexual misconduct.
The composer had filed claims of abuse with the LAPD in November 2017, and authorities categorized the report as “indecent exposure.”
Abadi alleged in her filing that Elfman repeatedly exposed himself and masturbated in front of her over the course of a year.
However, the former Oingo Boingo frontman issued a statement to Rolling Stone to deny the allegations and claim that his relationship with the composer was completely platonic until he rejected her romantic advances.

To clarify, while Abadi’s filing did not specify details regarding the reason for the settlement, sources spoke to the media to confirm that the Oscar-nominated artist was accused of sexual misconduct.
The musician stated that he “allowed someone to get close to me without knowing that I was her ‘childhood crush’ and that her intention was to break up my marriage and replace my wife.”
He added: “When this person realized that I wanted distance from her, she made it clear that I would pay for rejecting her. I allowed an ill-advised friendship to have far-reaching consequences, and that lapse in judgment is entirely my fault.”
The award-winning artist concluded by writing that he had “voluminous evidence that these allegations are false.”
A representative for the musician also claimed that Elfman and Abadi only had “limited interactions that did not involve sexual contact.”
