EXCLUSIVE: Damon Dash and Rachel Roy’s daughter Ava Dash, 23, shines in BCBG campaign as she talks diet, 12-3-30 workout and her ‘encouraging’ mom
Roc-A-Fella founder Damon Dash and fashion designer Rachel Roy have a beautiful daughter named Ava Dash who has become a rising star in the modeling world.
This week she debuted as the new face of the BCBG Holiday Collection in images shared exclusively with DailyMail.com.
The runway siren was seen in a cream crop top and matching skirt that made the most of her tiny waist and toned abs. Ava was also seen in a cobalt blue one-arm mini dress and then a cherry red satin dress with rhinestone straps.
The 23-year-old up-and-coming model spoke exclusively to DailyMail.com about her first major campaign and how she stays in such great shape.
‘I am so happy with this campaign! It felt especially special to work with BCBG on my first major campaign out of college, as my mother’s first job out of college was as a sales associate at BCBG!” she told DailyMail.com.

Her mother Rachel, a clothing designer and close friends with Kim Kardashian, was a role model for Ava.
‘My mother instilled in me a sense of self-love and self-worth from a very young age. In an industry where self-esteem can be tested, she has helped me maintain a strong sense of self. Her advice has been invaluable and has encouraged me to always remain strong and kind,” she noted.
However, she is not new to being in the spotlight as both her parents are famous; After all, dad Damon worked with Jay-Z and he and Beyonce were always there.
“Growing up, I always enjoyed being in front of the camera and having an audience,” she says.
‘I started modeling for my parents’ brand, Rocawear, when I was four or five.
‘I loved music in high school, singing and playing piano at the Professional Preforming Arts School in New York.
‘It was always a dream of mine to have a career where I could express myself creatively. Currently I am focusing on modeling, but I am also open to the endless possibilities the future can bring.
“Tomorrow I could write, star or even direct a show for my father’s television network, America Now. You never know.’

She also talked about staying healthy and looking her best on camera.
“Maintaining my fitness has a lot to do with my pescatarian diet, but it’s about more than just what I eat—it’s about taking care of my whole self,” she noted.
“That means making sure I get enough sleep, choosing foods that make me proud of what I put into my body, setting goals by journaling for the month, week and year, and having a consistent skincare routine.”
‘I’m absolutely obsessed with my mother’s new Ayurvedic skincare line, Ancient India. When I use her products I get a hydrated, natural glow, which makes me feel more confident in my skin.’
And she loves a good sweat session.
“My favorite workout is the ’12-3-30′ routine on the treadmill because it allows me to carve out 30 minutes for myself and gives me a sense of accomplishment every day.”
The 12-3-30 workout was created by YouTuber Lauren Giraldo. It consists of setting a treadmill at a 12% incline and walking at a speed of five kilometers per hour for 30 minutes.
‘I also like pilates because it’s fun and I always leave feeling strong and sexy. Moreover, you can wear the nicest sets for this type of training.’
