Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy was seen with his dog in the Hamptons on Friday — the day after he posted video of himself in a furious confrontation with the owner of a Massachusetts pizzeria.
Portnoy, 46, wore pink sweatpants, a white T-shirt and a navy blue baseball cap when he took Brody for a walk near his home.
The controversial sports media entrepreneur, who sold Barstool Sports for $550 million in February and then bought it back last month for $1, bought a $10 million home near Montauk in 2021.
The Massachusetts-born businessman also owns a $14 million home in Miami and a $2 million estate in Nantucket that he purchased in 2015.

The founder of Barstool Sports shared a video of his latest pizza review Thursday, showing a furious confrontation taking place in Somerville, Massachusetts
Portnoy seemed unfazed by the drama of his altercation with the pizzeria’s owner
Portnoy has been posting pizza slice reviews online for the past decade and was filmed on Thursday getting into a furious argument with a pizza parlor owner in the middle of a review of the restaurant.
Though the conversation began briefly but politely, the altercation quickly turned into an expletive after the owner of the Somerville restaurant, Dragon Pizza, told Portnoy that he “didn’t appreciate what you’re doing, come in and start a business in one time assessment. bite.’
After being asked to leave the area in front of the restaurant, Portnoy told the owner, “Let me be clear: F*** you.”
He said “f*** you” a few more times, the owner too, as he knocked him out before telling him he was on a “public street, motherfucker.”
The owner retaliates and calls Portnoy a “f***ing b****.”
The argument quickly escalated after the unnamed owner (pictured right) of the Massachusetts restaurant confronted him about it
Portnoy described the restaurant owner as the ‘worst pizzeria owner in the history of reviews’
Dave Portnoy, pictured, the controversial founder of Barstool Sports, recently bought back his company for just $1
“Just go fuck yourself and the whole damn platform you’re on,” he said before threatening to call the police.
Portnoy said in the video, which was uploaded to his pizza review YouTube channel, that he thought the pizza had a 6.4 out of 10, adding that the piece he ate was a “floppy mess.”
He described the restaurant owner as the “worst pizzeria owner in the history of reviews.”
The heated discussion comes just weeks after security documents revealed that Portnoy bought back Barstool Sports for just $1, with the company that bought it, PENN, revealing it would lose an eye-watering $850 million after the deal.
PENN’s ownership of the media franchise came under heavy scrutiny after several controversial moments from its brash and often obnoxious employees.
“We are stressed about making great content. People come to work and are happy,” he said
“I made more money doing this than I ever dreamed of in my life. I want Barstool to be a place where we don’t worry about making money or growing,” he previously said
In May, former host Ben Mintz was fired by PENN after reading rap lyrics that included the N-Word.
Despite an apology and pleas from Portnoy to keep him, PENN fired Mintz. PENN’s share price fell as a result of its elimination.
In one of his first acts as sole owner, Portnoy brought Mintz back.
He and Mintz posted videos from their side of the same phone call, which showed him returning to Barstool.
Portnoy told DailyMail.com that he will never go public again.
“I made more money doing this than I ever dreamed of in my life. I want Barstool to be a place where we don’t have to worry about making money or growing,” he said.
“We are stressed about making great content. People show up at work and are happy. We are not guided by the end result. We are driven by making people laugh.’
