EXCLUSIVE: Ariana Grande is seen for the first time since her shock split from husband Dalton Gomez as she ditches her wedding ring while shopping with co-star Cynthia Erivo in London

Ariana Grande has been seen for the first time since her shock split from husband Dalton Gomez.

The singer, who first sparked speculation that her marriage was in trouble when she was spotted without her wedding ring at Wimbledon on Sunday, was enjoying some retail therapy at Loewe in London’s Bond Street with her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo.

Still without her wedding ring, Ariana wore a cozy pale pink cardigan and oversized jeans as she left the luxury boutique with an iced coffee in hand.

The star, whose work on the Wicked movie has come to a halt due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, covered up her dyed blonde locks with a Wimbledon cap.

Ariana and real estate mogul Dalton made their relationship public in 2020 and said “yes” the following year in May 2021 in an intimate ceremony at Grande’s home in Montecito.

The former Nickelodeon star has been living in the UK since the beginning of the year after landing the role of Glinda in Wicked.

She and Dalton are believed to have actually broken up in January, with sources since claiming he’s been back on the dating scene for “months”.

TMZ also reported that the couple’s relationship didn’t work in a “post-Covid world” because their lives were “hugely different.”

Sources close to the now-exes revealed that when Ariana and Dalton were first romantically linked in January 2020, the two were “everything for each other.” But as the Covid restrictions started to lift, so did their relationship.

The real estate agent was reportedly “stunned” by Ariana’s fame and that he wasn’t used to dealing with “her schedule, the paparazzi and the various opportunities that brought her out of LA”

The insiders explained to TMZ that the couple’s “marriage differences had begun to unravel” and when Grande walked out to film Wicked in the UK late last year in December, the couple split the following month.

The singer and actress has been cast as Glinda in the adaptation of the hit musical, and the film is scheduled to be released in two parts on December 25, 2024 and December 25, 2025.

In May, the two reportedly tried to patch up their marriage, which only lasted “two weeks before they both threw in the towel.”

Ariana and Dalton are now on the brink of divorce, a source told DailyMail.com, as it emerged that Ariana deleted all romantic photos from her May 2021 wedding from Instagram.

Ariana and Dalton have nothing but respect for each other. They are still friends and want to stay that way in the future,” the insider explains.

“There was no cheating, no grudges between them, the marriage just didn’t work out. These things happen,” said the source close to the couple.

An Ariana spokesperson confirmed the news to DailyMail.com.

Ariana was seen ringless at Wimbledon this weekend; she hasn’t been seen wearing her ring in a while.

Their insider claimed that the pair tried to reconcile two months ago but it “failed”.

It was also alleged that Gomez had flown to London in January in a last-ditch effort to save the couple’s marriage – he visited his wife on the set of Wicked but it “didn’t work out,” reported Page six. The pair were spotted eating pancakes together in the British capital.

Page six also reported their ‘split’, with their source revealing, ‘They came to the decision together. They had problems before January, but they want to remain best friends.’

He tried to “save” their marriage with a trip to visit her on the set of Wicked, but “it didn’t work out,” according to the source.

“They have been very close friends throughout the process and their friends and families have tried to protect them,” the source said.
