EXCLUSIVE: Adam Collard claims Love Island was his ‘saving grace’ in stopping him from cheating later in life: ‘I was almost married off and married off too young’
He is one of Love Island’s most notorious lotharios and is now rumored to be in a relationship with OnlyFans model Lottie Moss.
But Adam Collard has reflected on his surprising past of being ‘almost married and married off in the countryside’ ahead of his appearances on the ITV2 show.
The reality star, 27, admitted that the dating series was a “saving grace” because if he hadn’t “messed around” when he was younger, he would have cheated later in life.
Adam, who was just 22 when he first appeared on Love Island, said he was “too young” to buy a house with his ex and was happy to be on the show.
In an exclusive interview with MailOnline, the personal trainer said he has now “come full circle” and is “ready to settle down” when he meets the right girl.

Appearing in series four of Love Island in 2018, the Newcastle-based personal trainer famously caused havoc in the villa, where he was labeled by some as a ‘gaslighter’ before settling down with Zara McDermott, 26.
Adam and Zara moved in together in Essex after leaving the show, but called it quits after eight months of dating.
He then returned as a bombshell for the 2022 summer series, teaming up with Welsh paramedic Paige Thorne, 25, but the pair split two months after leaving the villa when Adam was seen getting close to other women.
Adam told MailOnline, “Call me old fashioned because I really feel like there’s someone I’ll meet and say ‘Yeah I’m done'”. I think so.
“I won’t lie, I’ve had it before, but I was too young. I will hopefully get it back where I am with someone and really want to be with them all the time and be best friends all the way. Unfortunately I haven’t found it yet.
“I’ve probably made some mistakes, but I’ve had some cool experiences and I think I’ve got my life in better shape than some people my age, but I think you have to make mistakes to learn.”
Adam continued, “I was almost settled, married and married off at a very young age in the countryside.
“I came full circle and went on Love Island, and I think it was a saving grace because I think if I hadn’t I would have messed up later in life.
But if I’m ready to settle down now, I’ll be ready to settle down.”

Adam, who recently revealed that he will consider returning to Love Island for a third time for the All Stars season, was busy looking for love elsewhere while filming Celebs Go Dating.
The reality star, who was spotted doing a cozy gig with co-star Lottie Moss last weekend, gushed that the Channel 4 cast is “really, really nice.”
He told MailOnline: ‘Celebs Go Dating is great fun, a really good cast, it’s much more light-hearted and less serious.
“It’s actually kind of fun to do a show at home. The cast gets along really well and we’ve been out a few nights.’
Adam and Lottie appeared to be on a date when they left the popular London restaurant Chiltern Firehouse.
The X-rated model, 25, and the TV personality looked in high spirits as they headed to a nearby hotel for the night.
Joining Adam and Lottie on the show are host Vanessa Feltz, Love Island’s Chloe Burrows, comedian Spuddz and Made In Chelsea’s Mark-Francis Vandelli.
The reality stars will seek advice from dating experts Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson.
TikTok sensation Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn will appear on the show for the first time to provide expert advice.
