90 Day Fiancé star Armando Rubio has revealed that he is still at odds with his husband Kenneth Niedermeier over expanding their family through surrogacy and wants answers ‘now’.
But despite his frustrations, he insists the pair remain a team and that their final decision will ultimately be “what’s best for both of us.”
Armando, 34, is eager to welcome a baby with his husband of two years, but Kenny, 61, who has already raised four adult children, is against the idea due to concerns about his age and missing major milestones.
In an exclusive chat with DailyMail.com, the pair – who co-parent Armando’s 10-year-old daughter Hannah – explained how the decision has affected their relationship – with Armando emphasizing that his desire comes from love.

Answers Needed: Armando told DailyMail.com that his desire to have a child with his husband comes from love
“We’ve been talking about expanding your family for a while now, and I know it’s been going on for a while,” he said. “It’s like I want an answer right now… but we’re definitely a team here and we’re a family.
“The feelings I had about expanding our family were out of love and love for our family and for Kenny.
“And in the end, whatever we decide, I know it’s what’s best for both of us. And even though we’ve both had a hard time there, there’s something we’re going to decide on soon.”
Armando has received criticism from fans for his desire to share a child with Kenny.
Speaking about the reaction, he said: ‘The supporters aren’t used to us pushing each other down, so (our storyline) has thrown people off a bit because we’re usually so quick to compromise and put each other first.
‘But you know, sometimes a compromise doesn’t happen right away.
“Sometimes there are disagreements, sometimes there are conversations, and sometimes there are just people getting upset. And then a compromise may arise. It doesn’t always happen in the blink of an eye.’
Kenny also weighed in on the response, while also revealing that becoming parents together was something they had previously ruled out.

Fears: Kenny is reluctant to have a baby because of his age and fears he will miss important milestones
Threesome: Despite being on different pages, Kenny insists their battle has brought them closer together
“There are a lot of people who disagree with him (Armando) because they think he is putting pressure on me or making me do something I don’t want to do,” he said.
‘Or people say why we didn’t talk about having children before we got married. We did talk about children, and we both agreed that we didn’t want any more, but people’s feelings change, and his feelings changed. So you can’t blame him for that.’
Despite their differing opinions on expanding their family, Kenny insists the conflict has made them stronger as a couple.
“We’ve had a lot of issues over the years, with me coming to terms with our age difference,” he began.
“And then we had problems in Mexico trying to get married and be accepted. So all these struggles, obstacles and roadblocks have really brought us closer together. And this is something that ultimately brings us closer together.’
Kenny also added that their nearly 30-year age difference hasn’t affected them in any way, aside from their conflict over having a baby.
“He’s even more mature than me in most ways,” he said of Armando. “I’m a bit stupid and sometimes goofy, and he’s a bit more of an old soul.”
