EXCL: Tom Brady breaks cover! NFL star heads to cinema with kids in first sighting since divorce 

Tom Brady broke cover for the first time since announcing his divorce from his supermodel wife when he took his kids to the movies in Florida.

The NFL star, 45, kept it causal in a gray sweatshirt, white jeans and a camouflaged duffel bag, alongside his children Vivian, nine, and Benjamin, 12.

His children also enjoyed a relaxed style, sporty slip-on shoes and loose clothing.

The family trio went to a show Friday night at the CMX CineBistro in Hyde Park Florida.

The newly single father seemed solemn and quiet as the family traveled back to their car after the show.

He and his 13-year-old wife, Giselle Bündchen, confirmed their divorce on Friday after weeks of speculation, after the couple lived apart.

They both announced the split was “amicable,” but the quarterback admitted it had been “difficult” and “painful” to divorce his wife.

Giselle said she “wishes the best” for Brady, but confirmed the couple had “grown apart.”

“I feel blessed with the time we’ve had together and always wish Tom the best,” she said.

Both said they would continue to co-parent their two children.”

For weeks, there has been speculation that the couple would get divorced as a result of Brady’s decision to return to work.

He announced his retirement in February, but returned it a week later.

Brady initially retired from his football career, in part to focus on his family.

Gisele, who largely put her modeling career on the back burner to travel with Brady and live with him and their children in Boston, is rumored to be disappointed by the decision.

Over the past few weeks, she has been spotted meeting spiritual healers in Miami, and in September she told ELLE, “Now it’s my turn.”

She talked about wanting to do a travel series and donate to environmental causes, comparing her modeling career and then quiet descent into motherhood to climbing a mountain and then hiking a valley.

The couple claims to have reached an agreement on the division of their $700 million empire, which includes three homes and multiple businesses.

In an interview with ELLE in September, she said: “I feel very fulfilled as a mother and as a wife.

“And now it’s my turn. I have done my part, namely: [to] be for it [Tom].

“I moved to Boston and focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and support him and his dreams.

“Watching my kids succeed and become the beautiful little people they are, see him succeed and be fulfilled in his career – it makes me happy.

“At this point in my life I feel like I did a good job. I have a huge list of things I need to do, things I want to do.

“At 42, I feel more connected to my goal.” She had also shared her concerns about her husband’s health.

“Of course I have my concerns – this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I wish he was more present.

“I’ve certainly had those conversations with him before. ‘But in the end I feel like everyone should make a decision that works for [them]. “He must also follow his joy,” she said.

In 2020, Brady described how his past work had come between them.

During an appearance on the Howard Stern Show, Tom shared how the couple struggled in their marriage.

“A few years ago she didn’t feel like I was doing my part for the family.

“She had the feeling that I would play football all season and she would take care of the house and then suddenly when the season ended I would say, ‘Great, let me take care of all my other business activities. I get my football training.”

“She wasn’t happy with our marriage and I had to change that.

Her point was, ‘Sure this works for you…but it doesn’t work for me’.

“I had to check myself. Because she said, “I also have my goals and dreams,” he said.

In February 2021, after his seventh Super Bowl win, Gisele – it seemed – had had enough.

She asked Brady, “What else do you have to prove?” on the field after the win.

Giselle had fully embraced his decision to leave the sport, often fearing he would be injured as the oldest player, even writing a flowing tribute when he announced it.

‘What a ride! So many memories! When I met you over 15 years ago, I knew nothing about football.

“But by cheering for you and watching you do what you love most, I learned about this wonderful game to the point that I seriously believed I knew more than the umpires!

“We always had a special championship playlist for every ride on the way to the race.

“As a family we have always prayed for you, celebrated and supported you in every game, applauded every victory and suffered every loss.

“I know how excited you are about the next chapter of your life. ‘

“To see you work so hard in your football career and the dedication you now put into all your new endeavors is incredibly inspiring.

“There’s nothing you can’t achieve. I’ve always been there for you, you know that, and I’m just as excited as you are about what the future holds!’

Forty days later, Brady announced his comeback. “Over the past two months I have realized that my place is on the pitch and not in the stands.

“That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates and I love my supportive family.

“They make it all possible. I will be back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG.’

Gisele said nothing publicly about the decision.

There was speculation about their divorce when his now ex-wife failed to show up to his Tampa Bay Buccaneers games, as she had in the past. His children have attended a number of games this season.

More speculation arose after they halted construction on their Florida mansion before Hurricane Ian made landfall.

The two set out to build a forever home for themselves and their children in the Indian Creek Country Club community in Miami.

The total cost of the home is expected to be close to $30 million, as they paid $17 million for the land and another $10.12 million in construction costs for the custom mansion, according to the Post.

The area has been dubbed “Billionaire’s Bunker” due to the sheer number of celebrities and high rollers in the area, including Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.

Despite the split, the mega home is still being built.

The couple also owns properties in New York City, Montana, and Costa Rica, where they have vacationed for years.
